This will of course confuse users but Yelp doesn't care *** SEPTA has a regional rail station in Bryn Mawr as well as a high speed line (HSL, or "metro") "Bryn Mawr South Station." This location is off Glenbrook Ave, across from Bryn Mawr Hospital Thrift Shop. This railway offers fast access to portions of the city and suburbs different from the regional rail line. It is perfect to access stadiums if you transfer at the 69th Street hub. Also goes up to Norristown as the final stop away from the city. The 69th Street hub also connects to access many parts of the city not reachable on regional rail. Parking is obviously easy very early in the morning, and also in later afternoon. I have not used it other times of day so I can't speak to those times.

This train station is small, but it serves its purpose…read more They have some benches and a little covered up booth for bad weather. They have a ticket booth as well, but it's not usually open. Loud speakers are built in and they notify you of arrival times. Close by is Snap pizza kitchen and Ardmore station cafe. There you can grab a quick bite to eat. The parking is fine. It can be a bit confusing. If you need to stay warm on freezing days they have a little tunnel that goes under the train tracks. You can stay there. It is usually crowded do come a bit early for a seat. In the summer time they sometimes have concerts in the parking lot behind the train station. If you have to park it may be a bit of a hassle, but it provides entertainment while you wait.

Let's just say there's nothing noticeable about the Ardmore train station environment; I would suspect that's a reasonable compliment as one might be prone to remember more negative aspects (e.g., litter) of train station ambiance. I certainly had issues locating parking, which reminds me of a wonderful saying: "Nobody goes there anymore. It's too crowded." - Yogi Berra Hopefully another reviewer might offer a helpful tip. I was looking for a quick place to park for 20 minutes and grab a cup of coffee while waiting to pick up a friend. I struggled.

Another smaller station relative to the big anchor stops along the Paoli/Thorndale Line for SEPTA…read more - Located at the intersection of Chamounix Road and Glynn Lane in Wayne, just near 30. - This is zone 3 for ticket price calculation. - This line connects at 30th Street Station, to access Amtrak, and other regional rail lines. It also stops at other center city stations, to connect with regional rail and subway lines. This line does not go directly to the airport. You are better off getting a taxi or private car for the time it would take to make connections for the airport.

Much better than years ago when it was a dilapidated wood structure filled with urine. Although it would be nice if there were still a Post Office there. The tunnel under the station always floods when it rains. The ticket office is barely open. Only in the morning. The digital signs are always incorrect. Cheap parking is limited, but there is ample parking in the attached Radnor Township lot. There are only 6 spots, all for monthly pass holders, on the inbound side. There are about 100 $1 spots on the outbound side, which is accessible from Matsonford Road. Look for the entrance to Archbishop Carroll.

I only recently discovered and love the R100 High Speed Line (aka Norristown High Speed). So much…read morefaster and easier than the R5 regional. Transferring to the Blue Line at 69th St. Station is easy and rarely a wait. Using the R100 Radnor Station and the High Speed Line shaves nearly 20-25 minutes off the trip down into Philly. And the parking, albeit limited, is free! However there is no ticket booth/kiosk, so bring correct change ($3.50 peak fare with transfer to downtown Philly). Make sure you ask for the transfer when paying the fare!
