I have never had a bad experience at this Sephora. The staff have always been super kind and helpful. I have never gone in and not been asked if I needed help, and if I say "no, I'm just looking," they'll leave you be unless you need help. Sure, it can get busy and make it hard to maybe flag someone down, but that isn't their fault for being amazing and having tons of customers. I'll be in full beat, they'll help me and be nice. I'll be in nothing and a greasy bun, they'll help me and be nice. I've never had an issue. They'll even go in the back and check for items or try to help me find the perfect products when asked. Getting samples is super easy too, just ask and they're always friendly. I've even had a mini facial there by one of the sweetest employees, she went all out! I was trying to create a really good skin care routine and she did the whole nine yards- cleanser my face with the Clarisonic (it was sterilized), mask, toner, serum, moisturizer, treatment, eye cream- and explained everything. I was literally just doing research and she was totally down to help me and gave me samples. I went back and purchased a lot of her recommendations because of that session. Beyond that, the selection is pretty great. Sure, popular items (like a lot of Fenty because Rihanna is amazing) sell out but the stock is usually pretty stellar. They can even have you purchase in store and send it to your home for free if your not a flash delivery person (which if you order from Sephora at least two or three times a year, and would rather just be able to not go to the store and order even one cheap item and have it deliver free in two days, you should get flash delivery). The rewards system is not my favorite- Ulta allows your points to turn into money discounts- but they are definitely improving with the recent revamp. read more

THE CLOSING TIME IS INCORRECT. Absolutely absurd a major company like Sephora would have this vital piece of information incorrect on not only yelp but google search! And then, to talk to a customer through THE GLASS????? How inappropriate and inhumane. I am not a animal locked behind glass, open up the door and communicate with me LIKE A NORMAL PERSON. Today I was brought to tears by the blatant racism I received during my visit in this store. I am a loyal customer whether it be online or in store and the treatment that I endured was just heart breaking. I am a retired military veteran and carry myself with the upmost respect. I was stereotyped and followed around a store that I patron at least five to six times a month if not more. I came today to update my perfume collection and to grab some makeup for a trip I'll be leaving for and was met with employees gravitating towards me like a common criminal that they were waiting to take down. At first I was like ok, maybe I'm over reacting but once I turned a corner I was met by two more employees all watching my every move. I was upset to say the least. My sister was with me as well and even asked why we were being followed when no one else was ganged up on in the store besides us. The employee had an immediate attitude and stated it was protocol and upon further questioning she became even more irritated that we had outed their blatant disrespect. I didn't spend my money here today and I don't think I will again in the future. I just was brought to tears. It's 2018 and it shouldn't surprise me but it did. You go off to fight for your country only to come back and be discriminated against. Shame on you! read more

The customer service here is nonexistent. I had two transactions and was told that both would receive my insider 10% off ( good through the 15th ). Of course it didn't and the lady assisting me seemed very incompetent and could not figure out why it did not add. When I called the store to speak with a manager I spoke with Kathy, who listened to the issue and the proceeded to put the person who checked me out on the phone. As if she was any help. Please hire better staff who know how to work your system and provide customer service. read more

Terrible customer service. All the employees look at you like you're a bother when you walk in. No one is ready to help. When someone does help, they are very short. It's happened to me on 4 different occasions. Will not be back to this location. read more

If I could give a 0 star rating I would. To preface, I am an African American woman and I shop in many different places including Sephora. Usually the service is mediocre at this particular location, so no surprise that overall rating is about a 3. Today, my sister and I came in with my nephew (1 yr. old). We usually browse and look at the different cosmetic items or the perfumes. Today, since we are prepping for Cancun soon, we wanted to get new Fragrances, and they sometimes have it cheaper. I prefer Coach Floral and my sister likes Marc Jacobs Daisy, but my perfume isn't sold there. From the time we walked in until we left, we were being followed and looked at suspiciously. I'm used to being stereotyped (sad but true) based on my skin color alone. But to be almost encircled by 3 employees and all we did was what we always do, it felt demeaning and embarrassing. My sister is a military vet and I'm earning my Master's degree, (next my MD). The last thing we need is yet another racist/prejudice person hindering us. It's pathetic. They have nothing, maybe making pennies to my many dollars, but they have the audacity to judge us and all we wanted to do was spend money. Usually, the bad attitudes and the lack of attention can be brushed off, because these girls (can't even call them ladies), usually show little interest in selling us anything, assuming that we are broke or something. I confronted one of the Workers who asked us 3 times!!!!! Do we need something. Yes, something. Not help, not assistance... something. Okay. I asked why were we being followed like criminals, and she instantly became offended. She said it's policy/procedure. Hmmm... is the procedure to stereotype and judge loyal, yes loyal customers? No worries. I let a lot of their bad customer service go without a review, but wow. This was a big no no. No need to get my service. I'm just a Black woman with money to spend, but no where to spend it. Oh well, Ulta gave and gives (always) a much more satisfying experience. Sephora needs to stop it with the prejudice and their implicit biases, need to be checked. We are human, customers, not criminals. Just sad. Cooperate and local managers will be contacted. Sephora at Tallahassee Gov Sqr Mall (ground floor next to food court). Another time my s/o noticed a Sephora (same branch) associate gave me dirty looks as if I am doing sth bad! She tried to ask me about a palette in my hand, said "it is used" in an offensive tone. It was a darned Tester!!! Sephora management, if you are reading this, please educate your employees to be courteous and respectful to the customers. Prepared to wear a full face of makeup, if you're not you will not be approached. I was dressed down and had on no makeup and one sales women followed me around the entire store for approximately 45 minutes while I was needing help. I finally turned around and she quickly pretended not to be following me. I waited for a sample of perfume for about 15 minutes before finally getting annoyed and just leaving... I may look "poor" because hey, it's the mall after all. you are the one working retail afferall. read more

Great 45 minute make up session at Sephora. Steven, make up artist, is fabulous--takes his time, listens to you, changes up if needed and is all around good at his job. For a mere $50 purchase, you get a super make up session, great advice, good products. Well worth a purchase and if you get Steven, you won't be disappointed. So happy with my "glam" look for a recent wedding. Interaction with other staff members was also positive--very attentive and helpful individuals. read more

I went there today for the first time and worked with Steve and Chrissy. They were great, I have both sensitive skin and rosacea which can get rather tricky when trying new makeup. They patiently tried several different foundations with me until we found the perfect one for my skin. I don't think I'll ever get my makeup anywhere else! read more

Of course every Sephora deserves 5 STARS!!!....... Except this location. Why, you ask? Solely based on the inattentive customer service. I often visit this location because I am a makeup indulgence, however, I am disappointed more than I should be. During my last visit I was not greeted upon entering the store (as expected anytime you enter a credible establishment). I quickly made my selection and purposely walked around for 15 minutes, waiting for a sales rep to approach. To no avail, I was left wondering around the store at my own free will. There were approximately 7 sales reps and not 1 assisted. I guess they were too engaged in their conversation to notice anyone entering or leaving the store. If I was a theif, I could have easily walked out with merchandise undetected. The customer service was POOR! On a better note, if the usual, professional sales reps were present I wouldn't have been so irritated. At cash out the rep was made aware of what occurred and attempted to be apologetic. At that point the damage was already done. read more
