I have been going to this Sephora since they have been in Mt. Juliet. I live in Donelson, and hate dealing with the traffic with the Green Hills location. A typical visit for me is between $300 to $400 every 4 to 6 weeks. I use to be able to walk in and know all the ladies that worked in this location and they would always greet me with a "hello" "welcome to Sephora", "what can I help you with today" and even sometimes, they all knew my name. That was nice, but not the reasons I went to this location. The reason I went, 1) It was close to home, 2) I always felt like I got honest opinions and help with questions I had about any product(s) that I wanted to try or opinions what I needed for certain challenges for my skin.
TODAY was the second time I experienced the worse customer service I have had in this location. I am not sure what has happen to the bubbly, knowledgeable, and courtesy employees that worked here. I went in today around 3pm, there were 2 employees working (that I could see), and both were reading/looking at products. There were 2 other people/customers which were very young and busy sampling the makeup in different sections. SO, neither of the two employees were helping any customer. I immediately came in with my usual list, and saw instantly that the slots for 2 of my routine items were empty. I got the attention of one of the employees, after asking twice "excuse me ma'am?". I then asked about a product, that is a staple in their store (their words, not mine) asking if they were out of stock. She paused for a second, without leaving the area she was lounging in, and stated, "Um, yeah, we have been out of that for a long time" The unprofessionalism, and unmotivated customer service of the employees I feel is unacceptable. I feel expensive prices you pay for the brands at Sephora, you should be able to ask questions, get an intelligent/knowledgeable response and followed up with perhaps a solution, rather than a response that you wish you were somewhere else and hoping the clock hits 9pm so you can leave. Sorry Mt. Juliet Sephora, you have lost my business. I immediately came home and just ordered online. read more
