Wow! Best Sephora experience I've had. I went in the last 5 mins before they closed. I quickly told them what I needed and instead of becoming annoyed they all became team player and all helped me out in one way or another. I did not feel rushed even though they were closing the store. A huge thank you to the women in this store for being so friendly and helpful. The worst experience I've ever had. I went to make a purchase, and the person who assisted me added a product that I did not take, with a value of $60. When I realized it, I returned to the store, and that's when the worst customer service experience I have ever encountered began. First, the manager did not apologize for the mistake they made. She treated me practically as if I had stolen the product. She asked the person who reviews the security cameras to check whether I had supposedly not taken the product so that they could process a refund. In addition to that, when she said that she had already reviewed the camera footage and that my money should be refunded, she told me to wait until the entire line was cleared so they could assist me. When I complained about why I had to wait for an error they had made, she decided to open the register and finish processing the transaction. The manager showed no gesture of kindness at all. I asked to speak with someone of higher authority than her, but she said she was the only person in a higher position. She gave me her full name and told me to complain to whoever I wanted. I had never felt so humiliated and upset by the attitude of a manager in a store. People must be careful when making a purchase, because if they have to return a product or file a complaint due to a mistake made by the store, you will receive the worst experience. The manager's name is Marite Miranda Canovas. She should not have a position like that when she does not know how to treat customers. read more

Everytime I would turn a corner they were there trying to see if I was stealing stuff, I brought my little cousins with me and they were looking at products and almost every single employee kept telling them to stop touching stuff they were interested in buying. DO NOT COME HERE for a make over. I came to do my make up for my boyfriends party and the manager did it, she told me that Sephora never applies false lashes because the glue can make the customer have a reaction, when on the website it clearly states that you guys apply false lashes. It was just super unprofessional, she kept pausing every 10 seconds to answer the phone or help a client when there was so many other employees that could've helped out. This Sephora is notorious for it's horrific customer service but my experience today was review worthy. If I could give 0 stars I would! I was in the store for about 30 minutes and neither of the 3 associates cared to offer any assistance. I finally found a foundation shade that seemed to match my skin tone so I requested a sample from Larissa to test its wear on my skin, but I wasn't expecting a few drops of foundation. When I asked her about it because it was enough to cover half my face, she said they can only give enough for two days, but this won't even be enough for one! So, in case it wasn't clear, this Sephora is JCPenny. And apparently the policy there is that if you don't have the receipt (even though the transaction is linked to your Beauty Insider account) then they can only give you a JCPenny voucher (which is total bullshit). I went in just for the return but browsed around in case I wanted an exchange but from what I could see the service was average and the store was a little unorganized and the products were unappealing (overused and dirty samples). read more

Almost every single time I go to this sephora I have a horrible experience (too many to count). I only go every now and then to pick up necessities since it's closest to me. But what took me to write this review is the lack of information and unprofessionalism that they employees have. I swung by to buy a primer, however, I'm vegan and an animal rights activist so I only use cosmetics which have not been tested on animals internationally (you'll see later why I say internationally). So I ask an employee if there's another primer I could use than the one I currently have because it's a bit pricey. She took me to the Benefit poreless primer. And I asked her "are they cruelty free?" And she replies "everything here is cruelty free" which is completely false. I tell her "uhm.. Not really but it's okay" and she continued to go on how "she's the employee and speaking behalf on the company" and blah blah blah giving me attitude. I wish this sephora would actually EDUCATE their employees. Because Sephora as a company is not cruelty free. Why? Even though they are cruelty free in the US, they sell in china. China has a law that ALL cosmetics must be tested on animals. Thus still contributing to animal testing. Unlike, for example, Urban Decay who had the opportunity to sell in China but it went against their morals and declined. THAT IS CRUELTY FREE. Any company that sells in china is not cruelty free. another thing, is 3rd parent testing. Where the company itself doesn't test on animals but their parent company does; example, the body shop recently sold out to loreal (who tests on animals). The profit that company gains still contributes to animal testing. Making it not cruelty free. Another example of 3rd parent testing, Nars. Half of the companies in Sephora (including sephora) are not cruelty free. Yet the employee was giving me attitude how I was wrong and she was super right and EVERYTHING in the store is cruelty free. In the end, benefit sells in China and I'd rather not give my money to a company with no morals. I hope the employee sees this and doesn't continue to give people false information. read more

I came here the other day to get some free samples and my birthday gift and it took them forever to give them to me . I asked for help to several person and they would just leave horrible horrible service. And I went to find my foundation color and the women recommended the most expensive foundation there was and it was my wrong color. This store just want you to waste your money and they give you a horrible experience. To me when you go makeup shopping it's suppose to be relaxing and exiting but it was the opposite. I would just recommend going to another store or buy online which is better and you get more free stuff. But this store needs to hire new employees and train them better. read more

If I could give this place no stars, I would. I had a really horrible experience at this location not once, but twice. The first time, I asked one of the sales associate if she could help me pick out and try on a foundation, but of course she did it with a disdain attitude, as if I were asking her to do something that wasn't listed under her job requirements. So, the sales associate finally helps me pick out a foundation and she was going to apply it on my face to see how it looked, but then another client comes over to ask her for help, and she just walked away in the middle of the trial. That wasn't even the worse part; she then had the nerve to tell the customer that she was helping that she didn't know why I was still sitting in the chair waiting! Luckily, after I was able to find another sales associate to help me try on the foundation. My mistake was going back to this store a second time thinking that the rest of the employees would be better, but they were not. Due to these bad experiences, I will never be going back to this Sephora; I would rather drive the extra miles to another store. read more
