Nearly every time I go to the mall, I stop in at Sephora. I was just there a couple days ago and had a fantastic experience! As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by an employee, and she asked if she could help me finding anything. I was looking for a particular makeup item and had specific characteristics I was looking for in it. She walked me over to a couple different brands, explaining how them to me and how they fit with what I was looking for. She also said I was welcome to try the products on. Often, if the product can be dispensed into a container, they'll give you a sample to take with you, which is REALLY helpful! This employee, like all others I've been helped by in this store, was very knowledgeable about the brands and which ones would satisfy my needs. I'll be coming back to make my purchase! read more

I recently came in following my birthday 9 days ago on September 25th. I came in today to get my gift and I was super excited. I was greeted with complete negativity from the woman at the counter. I said I was coming to get my gift and she told me that I could only pick it up during the month of my birthday and that the day after it just "goes away". I wasn't asked to put my phone number in or anything. I know for a fact that it doesn't just disappear and I've picked up my birthday gift a few days late multiple times. It was completely disheartening and ruined my mood. I even checked the website to see if this was true. To my point, it was incorrect. Do better Sephora, truly broke my spirit. read more

My boyfriend and I were in the store, along with about 2-3 others. The staff followed only us around and they were also very condescending.

The staff is very friendly and willing to help. Store is bright, clean, and well stocked. This location felt bigger than the Fashion Mall location. The store felt more spacious and not as cramped. I visited on a Sunday morning so they weren't busy at all. It was easy to find everything I wanted, and some of the staff offered opinions on the items I selected. Another staff member recommended their app to me, which I already have, but gave me some tips on all of its capabilities. That was helpful. As I was checking out, they were good about informing me of my Beauty Insider points and asking if I was interested in redeeming them. Overall, it was a good visit. read more

I drove all the way to this Sephora to avoid going to the keystone location after a really bad experience. I am SO glad I made the drive. Everyone in the store was very professional. The manager helped me find a fragrance sample and offered a few more samples after I told her what I liked. There is a large selection and they didn't have a bunch of stuff out of stock like the one in keystone always seemed too. I think the staff here are friendlier and more laid back. They also have more of the sale items than the one at keystone. The store itself is clean and bright, with lots of well stocked swatch stations. I don't go in here often enough because I detest the mall but I do love this store and I wish we had a freestanding Sephora store like we have Ulta. Anyway, I want to give a shoutout to the employees because they are always friendly and I love that they don't work on commission. I had seen a product advertised recently and was looking to possibly purchase it on this visit but couldn't find it. I had a feeling it might only be a mediocre cosmetic in pretty packaging. The girl who helped me today took me to the product and gave a very honest personal opinion of it which resulted in me not wasting money by purchasing it. I really appreciated that! read more

Don't ever call this company's location and expect professional service. My wife called asking a question so she could purchase one of their products online, but was abruptly hung up on. The manager was very short with her and disrespectful. Not a great customer service experience at all from a condescending manager. read more

My friends and I walked in to get some foundation samples and the lady said that some one else would come over and help us. the woman who directed us to someone else then proceeded to talk about us to the other woman through her headset trying to get us to leave because we wanted samples, rather than buying a foundation. We wanted samples to TEST the product before buying it, considering makeup is expensive. We then decided to leave since we stood there waiting while the immature workers continued to talk about us. we then decided to ditch the main store and go to the second Sephora store located in JcPennys. I love Sephora. Both online and in person. It's so easy to spend sooo much money there. This new Southside location is great. They have a much better selection than the one that was (is?) in the JC Penney in the mall. You know what you are getting with a Sephora and this one doesn't disappoint, not quite as wide of a selection as the Keystone one but a more economical one. read more
