I typically don't leave reviews, but this experience warrants one. If it were possible to give zero stars, I would. I dropped off a FedEx package at this Walgreens location for their on-site service. The package was scanned in at the time of drop-off, and everything initially appeared to be handled correctly. However, it has now been over a month and a half, and the package has neither been picked up nor located by staff. This was not a small item--it was a large package valued at over $400--making its disappearance even more concerning. What is equally disappointing is the level of customer service I encountered. When I called for assistance, the response was dismissive and unprofessional from the start. There appeared to be little to no effort made to locate the package, followed by a quick claim that it was not there. Losing a customer's package is a serious issue, but the lack of accountability and basic courtesy only made the situation worse. This experience reflects extremely poor organization and customer service. I strongly recommend improvements in both package handling procedures and staff professionalism. read more

Wasted half an hour here trying to get a vaccine. I pre-booked the appointment, went through the check-in process twice, only for them to announce that they don't contract with my insurance. I could pay out-of-pocket, but they didn't tell me the ridiculous price until the moment they went to administer the vaccine. I walked out with neither the vaccination I'd scheduled nor the 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back. Withholding costs until just before performing a medical procedure seems deceptive and duplicitous. Go elsewhere for clarity and better customer service. read more

I received an unsolicited phone call from the pharmacy at Walgreens. The caller from the pharmacy called me, and I thought initially that it was about my prescription. They start out the telephone call by asking for my birthdate before they will even talk to you. If someone is calling you, they already know your birthday. I thought that was very odd to start out asking about personal information before they would discuss anything because your birthday is personal, but my main complaint was the whole point of this phone call apparently was they were trying to solicit me to come in to get unwanted vaccines. The call wasn't even about my prescription. I think they need to rethink their process because if I wanted a vaccination I would get it. This is like getting unsolicited sales calls--very invasive and unnecessary as well as unprofessional. read more

The refill automated line is great! However, the timeline for receiving the prescription is NEVER been adhered to in my circumstances. For example, I called in a prescription for my 95 year old mom on Friday and was told it would be ready anytime after 11:30 am the following Monday. After calling the automated line at 12:00 on Monday, it said it was ready. When I got to the pharmacy I was told it wasn't and they could get it ready in about 15 minutes if I wanted to wait. This has occurred every time she needs a prescription refilled. There's always some lame excuse such as the drug order just came in and once it was because of staffing issues. In my opinion 3 days is plenty of time to get a refill prepared. Wish we could change stores, but due to insurance reasons we're stuck!!! read more

Scheduled a flu shot for 1/1/2021 at 10:30 am and when I arrived, the pharmacy was closed. While I understand it's a holiday, why was I able to schedule an appointment? The photo counter associate was extremely rude when I acquired if the pharmacy was open. Please update the appointment scheduling technology to match store hours. read more

This location has never given me troubles until recently. They said unless i picked up one medication i had to pick up all of mine i had called in, and i should be allowed to have the freedom to chose what i want to pick up. Worst Pharmacy customer service I've ever experienced. Opening and Closing times change frequently and never are as published. I was told the Pharmacist has discretion on when they will be opened or closed on a daily basis. I came to pick up a Rx for my elderly father the day of his surgery and they closed the pharmacy well before the posted 630pm closing time (website still says 9pm closing time). I asked politely but was met with nothing but hostility. Truly despicable behavior from a so called "Family Pharmacy". I will never return to any Walgreens location and will advise any Veterans to avoid at all costs. Disgusting is an under statement. read more

What is going on with this pharmacy? The hours change every other day. I try and refill prescriptions and they get stuck in processing for days and days. They completely refilled one script wrong- supposed to be 30 10mg tablets, I got 30 tablets, 20 of which were 10 mg and 10 of which were 5mg. That wouldn't be so bad, except that only gave me 25 days worth! No one even told me when I picked them up. You cant get through on the phone unless you hold for over 20 min, and the lines take 30-40 min in drive through and in store- no matter what time of day you go. It didn't used to be like this!! As soon as my refills run out I'm changing. This isn't a one time thing. Ive been without pills I'm not allowed to stop taking for multiple days on multiple occasions over the last 6 months. Absolute worst pharmacy. Ever. I've been told the past 2 days I've gone that my prescription would be ready in 30 minutes to an hour. Which is FINE! But I've gone back every time after the designated amount of time they told me, and they told me to check back tomorrow. I went there today and they said the same thing, that it would be ready in 30 minutes. I went back 30 minutes later and they told me it was OUT OF STOCK and not available until next week. Do not send your prescriptions here. read more

My fave drug store. I generally prefer Walgreens over CVS. I think the staff at the U.S. 31 and Smith Valley Road location is very friendly. I forget the gal's name in the cosmetic department, but she is super friendly, knowledgable and helpful. It's always a refreshing, peaceful and pleasant experience to shop there. They usually have what I need. ;o) read more

This location is my favorite on the south side of Indy! Recently went through a major renovation, so it looks great inside and it's bright and very easy to find your way around! It's a plus that it is open 24 hours...You know just in case you need ice cream at 3 am and think the grocery store is too far away! =) read more

Clean, bright, and open 24 hours. This location follows their new approach as more of a neighborhood market vs a drug store. The staff.... well.... they're not the best. I've not dealt with the pharmacy as I prefer Target over Walgreens. But the people that I have dealt with seem like they'd rather be someplace else. Prices are pretty close to everyone else, but there is some stuff I feel is really high. But if your only option at 2am then it's worth it. read more

Worst drive thru pharmacy ever. IF they even come to the window it won't be until you've waited AT LEAST 15-30 minutes.

If you choose this location for meds, plan on being there awhile. There have been numerous times we or our drs have called in our meds days before attempting to pick them up and they weren't ready. They take their sweet time waiting on customers at the drive thru. read more

Do not go to this health clinic EVER. I went there at the beginning of this year for a simple sinus and ear infection. I was misdiagnosed with an inner ear infection and given a Z-pack that was supposed to knock out my sinus infection and ear infection. I was in the ER 4 days later with excruciating ear pain- turns out I had an outer ear infection, NOT and inner ear infection, and my ear canal had gotten so swollen I had to get steroid shots just so they could get drops down my ear. Since it was at the beginning of the year, and deductibles are insane now, I had to pay the $1,800 ER and doctor bill from the hospital. I received a bill from Walgreens for almost $100 for that visit, which I disputed, but they came back saying I still owed the bill. It took me HOURS on the phone with customer service to even FIND a person to ask to explain to me why I still owed this bill after being blatantly misdiagnosed and no one could explain why, and told me they would continue to call me until I paid the bill. I even got up to speaking with managers and they still were no help at all, telling me TWO TIMES that they would have someone in another dept. call me back- didn't happen. Needless to say, I paid the bill but will NEVER return to a Walgreens Health clinic and will tell everyone the same. read more
