My first run in with Sephora was on the Champs Elysees in Paris, where an absolute army of bilingual staff pointed me to a line of wonderful fragrance gifts for my wife (Kenzo line). Also sending me home with plenty of free samples and a better understanding of "la culture de parfum". When I saw that there were sephora stores back here in the states, I assumed (my mistake) that the level of service and selection would be equally as good. Let me tell you ... it's not. The store is only about 1/10th the size of the Parisian flagship, and the lady I spoke to had her eyes glaze over when I mentioned shopping in Paris and liking Kenzo products. It's not that the American version is bad, it's just that the French flagship is exponentially better. Here, a person eventually helped me (after me walking blindly around as the only male in the store for five minutes), but quickly tried to point to something and left me on my own again. In France, the same person that greeted me at the entrance followed me around for my entire time in the store. There was a good "sampler" kit I got, that had a gift card for a full version of your favorite sample (ended up being Prada). This did make a good gift, and was well received, but my initial impression was just not as favorable as my past experience. If I'm ever going to a premium perfume shop again in America, I hope my service experience will be just a bit better. read more

Came during lunch wth my gal pal. There were two ladies who greeted us off the bat and said if we need anything to let them know. I said my friend probably need a color match for her foundation. The lady who helped us at first was very rude and condescending to my friend. She then passed us off to another employee, Amber. SHE WAS AMAZING. If you ever go to Sephora, try to find Amber or ask if she is there. Super friendly and knows her stuff. She helped us through not just foundation matches, but color corrector and concealer for our eyes, and finally primer and eyebrows. She gave us some great samples to try out and hold us until payday when we plan to come back and buy all our stuff. She is phenomenal! 10 stars for Amber and 2 stars for the rude woman who passed us off. You missed out on building a great clientele base. Oh well, more for Amber! read more

I have never gone into this place and actually liked it. It's sad because I want to love it sometimes I find myself making trips to another sephora because the service here is terrible! The last time I went was probably one of my worse experiences and I'm not coming there again. I needed to buy a new foundation I was out of my old one and I wanted to get Kat Von d or mufe anyways I went in and the lady who had me first passed me on to a newer worker which is fine I didn't mind here's here it went bad the girl was supposed to be a color specialist and she used the color iq to find my color but my foundation was still on and I had asked her if It needed to be taken off and she said no anyways I had bronzed on to and so the color iq gave me a very bad color it was no where near my color then she seemed nervous because I was getting frustrated with her I've been standing and waiting for about 20 mins now while she ran around the store then she dropped her brush and tried to put it on my face without washing it she then found a Kat Von d product and said it matched but my friend realized it didn't match and she removed half my face of make up and didn't put it back when I walked out side I had a dark color in one and my normal lighter one on the other side... She also told me the color powder that "matched" was pretty so it would look perfect for me...are you serious no never again! read more

This location is the worst location as of right now. Today me and my fiancé went in to the business to get items in which she needed. When she needed help she ask and was told by a rep there to hold on I'm busy right now . 15 minutes she asked again and then the same lady told her again the same statement. There were 2-3 people standing around . This was in called for so we left and as we walked out she was on her little radio saying someone help them before they walk out . With all do respect. I will drive to another store or competitor before she ever gets disrespected by these employees again...... read more

Went in to buy a perfume sampler and check out some face stuff to try and buy later. It took a minute for someone to greet me, but once they did they were really helpful! I'm not sure if the name of the gorgeous red head that helped me in the perfume department she was great, but was super delighted with the service I received at the check out counter from Shannon. I made my purchase, redeemed my points and got some fun samples and recommendations for products to help me better care for my skin! I would highly recommend going to the Easton location for a fun shopping experience! read more

This place has a great selection but I get the feeling that the sales people have their personal favorites and don't listen to what your personal needs are. I will go back but will probably shop without asking for assistance. read more

Easton is a pretty fun shopping location, especially if they weather is good. It's mostly outside, and this store is located in a strip mall in the outplaying shopping area. This is the oddest place I've ever visited. I went in to pickup Pür Mineral foundation after flying into Columbus and leaving mine. It's close to the hotel and airport and online it seemed they may carry the brand. When I walked it it looks more similar to an ULTA with set ups and sections around the store. My Sephora in Atlanta (Lenox) is WAY larger than this one. Shortly after entering, a sales associate approached me and said "Can I help you? I thought I'd let you know we don't sell discount store brands. We are pretty expensive" (all I can think is maybe I was talking on my phone that it looked like an ULTA?) I replied I was looking for a brand I wasn't sure she carried (ULTA doesn't carry pür mineral anymore) and without even asking what I was looking for she replied, "We probably don't carry what YOU are looking for" --I was dressed in business casual, I carry a nice purse. I am not sensitive to what people think or say about me, but from a sales associate was offensive. If Sephora reads reviews, this is a learning moment for your sales team. I left without buying anything and next time I'm in Columbus I will skip shopping here. read more

My advice never get your lashes done there. I went for a makeover for my prewedding look. The associate I had made me look like her, which wasn't what I asked for. She got glue in my eyes while putting on my lashes, it took a few minutes and a fight to open my left. I took it off as soon as I got home and wash my face. That was three days ago. I'm in bed in so much pain. Never again. I paid $50 to be in pain read more
