She set me up in a dressing room. She also had the tailor come for alterations. Anna, the tailor, was amazing! She was able to alter the top part of the dress to fit better. She explained the process of payment. If you purchase items at Nordstrom, there is a free tailoring service! You pay with your Nordstrom card then receive the amount in Nordstrom Notes. You do have to use the notes at Nordstrom, Rack or online. At almost $100 for the alterations, I'm happy to have the $$$ to treat myself! The store is bright, clean and has nice displays. The dressing rooms were also clean. Bathrooms for women are in the second level.

She was honest about what would work with my skin, I have very dry skin, and also the color palettes that I chose. I asked for her opinions and we compromised, I trusted her since she was the expert. I had my trial at her home office and fell in love with the look she created for me. It was very soft and romantic but bold enough to last me through the entire night. I had to go out afterwards, and received so many compliments. We had two separate ceremonies when the wedding came, we had a tea ceremony as well as a traditional wedding. She created two unique looks for both days since my outfits were also very different. I had the best experience with her. She is laid back but very professional. My bridal party all loved their look as well and even through the heat during our photography sessions, our make up stayed put! It was about 85-90 degrees that day and I was impressed that our look did not melt off by then. She made jokes and helped keep me entertained the whole morning during prep. Her prices were fair, and included lashes, which you think you never need but you must. I personally did not get them because I got extensions, but everyone else did. She and her team mate finished my party of myself, 6 bridesmaids, 2 mothers, 1 grandmother and a number of other people that wanted make up just as guests in a very efficient and well paced manner. I would not hesitate to recommend to any other bride. I had two make up trials before this and I was not as excited until Jen did my make up. I am asian also and I feel like a lot of make up artists are not as diverse. The previous two make up artist did not play with my features correctly and did a standard application of make up. Jen took the time to study my face and really bring out the best parts. I will probably be using her for other events to come! Thanks again for making my day perfect!
