This is got to be my 7-10 trip here and never have I ever once been I impressed.... I've been let down the last few times but never truly let down. The last few times I ended up walking out without purchasing any thing this time I was out of some of my favorites, leave for a trip tomorrow, and did not have a choice other than to purchase it in person nearby. There was an ungodly amount of people working there. However, there would either be two people helping one person or groups of employees standing around, drinking Starbucks and talking. At one point there is no one at the register with 10 people in line, and then at other points, you would just see employees, casually walk away and texts on their cell phones. I try to ask for help more than once, but could not get their attention to save my life and gave up. I found most of my items like going I'll buy I'll. Sephora was my favorite place in Dallas so it's where I always get my make up but this is an absolute nightmare - at one point I think it was obvious that I was irritated and about to take a picture of three people gossiping with Starbucks orders, and a young man came over and I'm not sure what he said but then he asked how my day was going with an attitude because I asked him what he said because I couldn't hear him the first time and then when I was leaning over to grab some thing asked me what I was looking for and I said the brand that was right in front of me and he was like well look no further it's right in front of you, as if I was blind, and could not see it..... it was utterly painful Lastly, I finally get in line and there's about 15 people in front of me three people get on the register and the line is starting to go down and move quickly than one person peels off and there's two and then I finally get up and a girl looks at me look down at my stuff and goes yeah, the next broken. Check you out signs off and leaves and gets on her phone.... The other girl had an issue with the person she was checking out so it was another 5+ minutes and then finally when I get checked out she asks if I found everything ok and I said barely and asked who helped me and I said no one- and she seemed shocked and repeated it and I reinforced not a single sole... she wasn't thrilled or nice afterwards - I'm guessing she didn't like my answer but don't know what to tell her when I pretty much got the opposite of help and wanted to gtf out of there .. As I leave, the lines long and 2 people behind the check out are hanging and then as I'm walking out I find the other group hanging out. For as much staff as they have here, the place should be immaculate, wells stocked, and great help ... maybe I have high expectations of Sephora from my Dallas experience, but even when it was slammed during the holidays, it was far better than this. I would like to start by saying not all Sephora establishments are one in the same or provide the same level of customer service. As my first experience with this establishment was in New Orleans, I was highly pleased and impressed with their level customer service, and services they provided for a reasonable price. Then my opinion of this establishment changed drastically after being treated in a manner that was not inclusive to my #1 skin color and #2 who I was as a paying customer. First, my make up was not done to the satisfaction, or even to match the skin, tone or color of my skin, which meant that the makeup artist was not equipped or trained to do multiple skintones. This was very disappointing after waiting 45 minutes to be served And then sitting in the chair for another 30 minutes to have my face not look as the picture of myself that I provided. Second, as a paying customer, the management of this establishment assumed that I was another customer, which was unfortunate as they were frustrated with that customer and addressed me with that frustration. I was not that customer, nor was anybody considerate enough to ask me what my name was as they just assumed continually for the hour and a half to two hours I was there. At this time, I will not be frequenting or even recommending this establishment or store location to anyone. As I do believe they do need some customer service training. read more

Never been to a sephora so this is my first time here. Im visiting from Brooklyn and forgot my eyeliner, saw Sephora in the mall and went in to get eyeliner and a sharpener. As soon as I walked in a guy greeted me, I said hello and continued to walk in. He then asked if I needed help and I told him I needed eyeliner. He proceeded to show me the one I finally decided to purchase and I like how it went on smooth & not pulling my eyelid. He also showed me Kat von D's eyeliner, didnt like that one. I love this Sephora! The sales people are super helpful when it comes to questions. While I'm more of a seasoned makeup and skin care person , I took my mom and aunt for mini facials with a consultant and I also wanted to get some skin care items for my mom to try. We had facials with patty and long story short my aunt and mom who have never had facials were very satisfied and filled out the little surveys. I even wound up purchasing her a total skin care routine because the results were almost instant. What I love is their willingness to give samples because it helps you make decisions about products. Obviously I will be returning and now my mother as well. They turned a nonbeliever of a long skin routine into a believer and a user. Love this location ! read more

I went to the Sephora store on Thursday around 6:00PM. The store was busy with customers however there were a lot of employees/makeup artists standing around. I walked up to two makeup artists asking for assistance with foundation and neither of them could help me. I'm not sure how Sephora trains the employees but thought that was odd. Finally I was able to get some assistance. The makeup artist rushed through the process on trying to find the correct foundation for me. It was not a relaxing experience, nor fun. I was able to find a foundation. I also found a lipgloss (on my own) that I am happy with. I will stick with MAC. They have better customer service. 3 stars for the products only. read more

The customer service here is amazing. Staff is very friendly and welcoming, and there's a pleasant vibe as soon as you walk into the store. Very clean and organized store. Sue answered all of my questions, swatched me for foundation, recommended a primer and highlighter I may like ((I definitely do)), helped me find everything that I needed for a Halloween costume, and gave me a couple of free samples on top of that. At checkout, I was greeted by Emily. She was very friendly and asked if I found everything I needed, and we talked about halloween costume ideas. I mentioned I needed to pick up extensions before halloween, and she wrote down and recommended a great place to go. This is by far of my favorite Sephora stores in FL. What really makes the store shine are the makeup artists and customer service. Consistently I've had wonderful experiences with great product recommendations, thoroughness, and makeup makeovers. As a rouge member I have my makeup done regularly (about once every 4-6 weeks), and love every experience. My personal favorite artist is Haile, but I've worked with a handful of others who have been absolutely amazing. In terms of product selection, this is pretty standard at popular stores but I've never had any issues finding a product (even new products). Sephora is my go to store for makeup, hair, and skincare. I love the variety of brands. If you're ever curious about trying a product ahead of time book a makeup makeover (or mini makeover) using their app or online. The manager dude is uninviting, staff has little to no knowledge of the products, staff appears to be unhappy (but that's a management/training issue), limited options, and they are usually out of stock. I love me some Sephora! I came in to redeem a reward as I'm a Beauty Insider member (their loyalty program), but I decided to browse before heading to the counter to pick it up. A+ for their customer service! I was greeted by every associate I came across. I wasn't really looking for anything in particular, so I didn't make use of their expertise, but it was nice to know I wouldn't have a hard time finding help if I needed it. They have a wide array of beauty products from a lot of mid to high-end brands as well as their own house brand. Everything is neatly organized and clean so it's super easy to find your way around. As a beginner, it's really intimidating to walk into a make up store. Your experience always depends on whether or not there's a helpful associate. Andy, Dima and Alexander were EXTREMELY helpful in answering our questions and made me and my friend feel at ease. On top of that Alexander went completely out of his way to tell us about a lot of his favorite products and how we can use them. I wish their manager was there that day so I could tell them how great these 3 were. If it hadn't been for them I'm pretty sure we would've had a negative experience, because we had a negative moment with one of the associates who rolled her eyes at us when she saw we didn't buy anything. We knew exactly what we wanted but both wanted to discuss it with our husbands before spending $100s of dollars which I think is normal. I'm sure she could've pressured us with her attitude to buy something we didn't like just to purchase something but it would be pointless if we came back and returned it. I love Sephora and everything that it has to offer. The variety of products, how you can sample them and even have a mini 15 minute make over to see how well things go together. The staff is always helpful and friendly and has always been able to help me find what I'm looking for or if the product has been discontinued, to help me find something similar to it. They offer a rewards program which is always a nice bonus however it's like most where you usually have to get quite a few points racked up and then when you do earn enough, the choices are minimal and it's sample sizes. Fortunately they carry A LOT of brands and it's a one stop shop instead of having to go through the department store and get hounded be salespeople. What I do like also are the sample sets for purchase. I recently purchased one for sun care which had different brands and types of sunscreen. The whole family was able to try it and see what was best for each skin type and what worked better than the other. It was well worth spending the money on this, now we know what we loved, what worked and what didn't. Sephora's app is also easy to use and convenient, especially when you know specifically what you need. The ONLY thing I feel lacking from this place sometimes is having more experienced make up artists in the store. There have been a couple times when the color was completely off or the person offering to do my make up had their own idea of what to do instead of asking me what look I'm looking for. I also recommend going to the Sephora in Citrus Park. This location has always been on point for me, where the others have always lacked in one thing or another (short staffed, samples not always available, not as as knowledgeable in products, just a variety of different things). Overall though, Sephora is heaven for anyone looking for skincare products, make up and perfume/cologne and would recommend looking here first before anywhere else! read more
