What a little gem of a discovery this store was.
The sweet waitress at Bibimbap (where I had lunch) got into a conversation with me, where we spoke about my love for Asian food. She told me that although I lived in London, I should walk up to the traffic lights and check out this store.
Seoul Plaza is a cramped grocery store and you have to walk in reverse half the time, to let someone pass you by. But it is chock full of goodies to cook Asian style food. While I was in the store. I saw so many Chinese/Malaysian/Korean and Thai students walk in to pick up the specialty foods. I found a couple of sauces and snacks that I haven't seen outside of Londons Chinatown.
I picked up a couple of sauces and shelled roasted unsalted peanuts (that I haven't been able to find in London recently)
There was a large selection of rice, fresh vegetables and frozen seafood.
If you live in Cambridge, this is definitely a store to check out. read more
