Not bad. Again over worked staff. Place seems busy but lack of choice and variety. But I guess that's what you get from an express store.

Love love love. Not…read morea lot in term of grocery in this area, so then farm shop is a blessing to me. Not a fan of the co-op down the road this is the best place to get produce, eggs, meat and just about most things you can think of to fill your fridge and cupboard. The upstairs even has large freezers with ice cream and baked goods, and more meat. The people are very friendly and everything is quite affordable. I am so happy to be able to support my local farmer. They'll soon be starting a delivery service as well!

My husband was able to find whole oats here (called Jumbo Oats) which he couldn't find in any of the major grocery stores. The meat prices are extremely good especially for being so fresh and local, and the frozen meats are a super bargain! We bought some just-picked seasonal strawberries yesterday and they were amazingly delicious. We still need to get some things at a bigger store like some familiar national/international brands or particular varieties of groceries, but Radmore Farm Shop is definitely our new place to walk for fruit, veg, and meat. It's perfect for those "What are we going to have for dinner" afternoons because I can grab meat, onions, mushrooms, and whatever veg suits and cook something up fast. We are definite fans and plan to shop here routinely while we're in town.

If you want to get a bottle of alcohol for your hotel room I would suggest coming here! They have a variety of red wines to choose from and also other spirits as well. Also if your a chocolate fanatic or you have a friend that loves to eat sweets they also have a pretty good selection on that! I thought the price of everything was actually super cheap. Everyone always says UK is pretty expensive but I found going to this market it was pretty dirt cheap. For checking out you can either do it yourself or you can wait in a line for a cashier to assist you. If your buying alcohol you should wait for the cashier line. Tip- Right across the train station!

It's not a huge store, but helpfully it's open 24 hours a day, although you do have to fight your way round the shelf stackers at night. Generally it's pretty well stocked, apart from the odd days around the major holidays where you can find the shelves dreadfully empty. There's a pharmacy, which I've never used, a Tesco Direct counter which works just as it should. The photo shop is always having their machine break down but when it's running the service is actually very good. A word of warning, there's a café tucked away upstairs at the far right of the shop, very easy to miss. I would definitely give it a miss, the breakfast is truly disgusting, and the coffee machine seems to be out of order whenever I go there. It's clean and tidy though.

Walking into Winfield isn't like walking into a supermarket. On entering, you are greeted with a strange aroma, which can only be described as sweet meat, and find yourself side stepping down the few aisles they have because it is rather cramped. It is the perfect hotspot for people who like to cook their own Chinese food and this is why, despite the smell and space, it is a firm favourite of mine. They sell everything you would need to cook up a Chinese feast, including the soup bowls! You can tell that it is a family run business and it does hold a very welcoming atmosphere, you can even pick up a fortune cookie! Winfield is a treasure of a shop with the best prices amongst other Chinese supermarkets around town. It's on Mill Road too so it's easy to find! I fear that not enough people are aware of Winfield and therefore I urge you to experience that sweet meaty store!

Unsurprisingly, all expense has been spared in kitting out the premises with the goods stacked still in their boxes rather than neatly arranged on shelves, resulting in a rather uninviting warehouse atmosphere. Don't let that put you off! We first visited after reading a positive review in the Observer of the wines on offer and have been back many times since to stock up on bread, store cupboard basics, cleaning products, deli goods, frozen food and DIY tools. There are very few familiar brands, but most of the Aldi imitations are not noticeably different and much better value. On the whole we've always been pleasantly surprised, but we particularly like the washing up liquid, the grilled peppers in olive oil, frozen fish, Shropshire blue cheese and Montepulciano red wine. While the quality of the goods for sale is much better than the shop's decor would lead you to believe, unfortunately one can never rely on a particular item being in stock on any given day. The shop assistants are perfectly friendly, if not overly so, and work incredibly fast when scanning your goods. There are no free carrier bags, so you'll have to buy one or bring your own.
