It is not the largest of sainsbury's but has everything you would want a newspaper/ magazine and tobacco area with seperate till, customer toilets and a great range of products in the main part of the store including a very nice bakery! One of thes best supermarkets within braintree town centre in my opinion!

I really find this branch of Tesco difficult to use. The layout of the store is very…read moreconfusingmostly due to the upstairs containing some, but not all, of the household goods. The ranges of goods, particularly organic choices, are very poor too and i often have to 'chase' a member of staff around the store to enquire as to whether or not they stock a particular item! Upstairs holds a good range of childrens clothes but as there is only one (incredibly slow) lift for use with buggies and for shop syaff with trolleys, it takes an age to try to get up there! All in all a very dissapointing store!
