Well, unless you need halal meat, curry spices or ten types of kimchee then I'd stick with Cho Mee. Cho Mee is Chinese-run by a luvable lady full of charm and jokes, but it is not just Chinese ingredients that they excel at... they have Filipino, Thai, Malaysian, Vietnamese and Japanese too. All helpfully zoned and signed. It's hard to go wrong if you're cooking to impress. No-one wants to make that faux pas of using Thai fish sauce in a Viet dish! The fresh veg section is excellent and cheaper than local chain supermarkets, they have a sweet range of frozen fish and prawns and bags of rice and stacks of instant noodles. I'm cooking a lot of Thai right now and they're not letting me down there either... they have salted duck eggs, tom yum paste and even Singha beer and (god no) Maekhong Thai 'whisky'. Bye bye Co-Op. I'm cooking something interesting tonight.
