Ok, for daily boxed, canned, or standard products that are available everywhere, yes, go to Pick N Save or Walmart for the better savings. BUT: When you want top notch baked goods, deli, and prepared food... Albrecht's absolutely rocks! I have found these areas far superior to all other grocery options in our region of SE Wisconsin. Their rolls are incredible (do the hot ham and rolls or use rolls for anything from burgers to fish sandwiches). Their cookies are often awesome (salted caramel chocolate chip... oh, YES). They have the best prepared taco dip trays too. The hot prepared food is great (really good fried chicken). The food may not be cheap... but it is very high quality and, at times, that is exactly what is wanted or needed! The only negative I have is that I live an hour away and can't just shop here easily as much as I wish I could! read more

If you choose to use the curbside pickup service versus in-store shopping be prepared for items you want to be out of stock multiple weeks. Always list acceptable substitutes and check your orders carefully when you unpack. I've had some orders where products were incorrect, or a completely different sized item that wasn't wanted was given as a replacement even after the clerk was told no. Be prepared to do a second trip to a different grocer for the balance of your needed items. It's convenient yes, but only when you trust the accuracy of the store clerk packing your order. I have lived in Delafield since 1987 and have Never been treated with any respect as a customer since they opened. Store manager Tom is incredibly rude, Such a jerk, and So Not a Nice person to want to Meer. I worked under him in the Deli and his Deli Manager was not helpful at all nor was he. Turnover rate is high due to lots of employees having chips on their shoulders everyday and bringing problems to work with them. The trickle down affects you even see in incredibly awful customers running carts into others during busy times shopping in the store. Cashiers are worse. My Advice for decent shopping go to SENDIKS on Meadowbrook. Much more pleasant atmosphere and more friendly.​ read more

I've never reviewed or felt compelled to review a grocery store but after shopping at this one, I must. I love this store. Aside from being a grocery store that has all the things you need to cook great meals, the staff is helpful and knowledgeable ("we're out of this but it should be in tomorrow" type stuff). I feel like things really start to shine when we start talking about the deli section. The breads are great, the deli meats are great (they have Boar's Head!), the sushi is great, they have a to-go Chinese food section, the soups are outrageously good (I love soup, I once ordered it as an appetizer and a meal accompaniment and I'm telling you these are not just good, regular soups, they take some chances. I've seen some flavor profiles here that I have not seen elsewhere [I'm looking at you sengalese chicken soup] and was left smitten), they have an impressive meat selection (again with cuts I haven't seen before, ever heard of a Capone? I hadn't!), live lobster, etc. I can't remember all the good things I want to say about this Albrecht's Sentry in Delafield. It makes me happy just thinking about it. If this is around you, make this your grocery store and start living your best life. read more

Elderly people would want this service to avoid as much contact as possible during these trying times. This is definitely one of the nicer Sentry stores in the area for overall shopping experience and actual for grocery shopping in general. Have you ever waited in line on the weekend for deli items? I have at many other stores and seen adults throw hissy fits with how long they have to wait or if someone is buying too many items or asking too many questions....not a pretty sight. Here, you can go to a walk up computer by the deli, place your order and then continue shopping. You will get a text once your order is ready and no waiting in line to get it (it is set off to the side at the pickup counter). More places need to do this (Sendiks, please take note of this). This location has a large salad bar, soup area and decent Chinese food bar. Great meat, cheese and beer/wine selections. Service is okay, not outstanding but not horrible. My only complaint is the produce is sometimes not the best, but that that seems to be improving. read more

This is a top notch grocery store, best meats, veggies and wonderful bakery. All the employees are so kind, considerate and very helpful. Sure is many steps up from Pick N Save - Metro Mart. It is cleaner and if you ask about a new product, they get it and put on the shelves. I would give the highest rating there is for this wonderful grocery store!!! read more

I have up until now really liked this grocery store. Just shopped there today, the Sunday before Christmas and it was scary. The pandemic is worsening as everyone should know. About 10% of the patrons were wearing masks. Okay fine that's their choice. Went to check out and an employee who I recognize has worked there a long time, walks away from her post towards me and unloads some gross coughing, no mask and no hands to cover her mouth, just full on coughing. Employees should NOT be doing that. I don't think I'll ever shop here again. read more

I wish this store was closer to me. However, it's worth the trip to get rolls (and donuts) that taste like they should, with great texture. The service is great top to bottom: one can order shaved ham from the deli people and they understand what you mean, the butchers are knowledgeable, the cashiers are intelligent and friendly. Y'all are smokin crack if you're hating on this store. Especially based on what one lone sack-monkey did to your kombucha. Look, this place isn't the most spectacular grocer around, but it's pretty flipping good. The meat department is awesome with their prime cuts, the deli is really good too. They have some great bakery offerings. I don't know how you can not like this place. It's locally owned and operated, they have a nice liquor department, great organic selection... This is a great store with a wide variety of food choices. My family from out of town say it's the best store they have shopped from the deli to meat to food islands. My home deliveries are the most accurate and fill complete requests. No substitutions unless they call me first. This kind of service is worth the minimal delivery charge. Unlike the previous review I think Albrechts is above average when compared to Pick n Save and Piggly Wiggly. The produce is always fresh and the quality is good but you can't compare it to Sendiks which is outstanding. I miss Brennens for produce. The 15 yr old at the checkout almost broke a glass bottle of my Kambucha, which if ur familiar, tossing it around will cause explosion for at least a few hrs. I am not a fan of Sentry. Not this Sentry, and not other Sentrys. This grocery store is close to my house, but I will (almost) always drive farther for a better shopping experience. They never seem to have the items I want or need. I will say that my needs go beyond the basics. I tend to favor specific brands, as well as natural & organic products. If all you need are the "basics" and don't care specific products, Sentry will do fine, but for my own needs, it's sorely lacking. read more

We love the Chinese hot bar and the deli staff are courteous. One of the nicest Sentry stores I have ever been to - almost as nice if not nicer than Sendiks. I really miss the Sentry on TT and I am sorry, Fox Run isn't exactly something to write home about. Pretty expensive for a rather pedestrian grocery store. They remodeled recently, but the quality of goods remains fairly poor. Watch out for the produce, it's old and sad. That great price on celery only means it will go limp in two days. The prepared foods is down right scary -- gel cubes anyone? The new cheese island is limited to big brands or weird Wisconsin flavors, like Caramel or Mango Cheddar. And the meat, your typically industrial quality, is some of the most expensive in Milwaukee. The bakery, it should be said, however, is above average -- decent rolls and good cakes and tarts. We only shop here for staples because it's the closest grocery to home, but we do our big weekly shopping at WholeFood downtown or Good Harvest in Pewaukee. While I find these two the best in Milwaukee, Sendiks, Pick n Save and just about every other grocery is better than Albrecht's, which I hope will continue its renovation and step up its food game. read more

Last time the package was not as displayed, meaning/ said six and only five items in the package. The time before that.... plastic in both packages of ground beef. I really do appreciate this Sentry market. It's well assorted, good deli section, some quite rare sausages, whole lot of different liquors and beer, good bread and pastry and the Rotisserie grilled chicken is a juicy, tender and fairly priced burner. Never had any problems with the staff it's quite the contrary and I'm already looking forward to go there next time I come around. There're definitely other and better grocery stores in the world and this Sentry might not be among the top ten, but nevertheless it's a good place to go. read more

One of the few places to shop that really get me excited about grocery shopping! I cannot find anything negative to say about this outstanding store. It's always overpriced. The Deli department is slow as a snail. I've walked out I've had to wait so damn long. Seriously. Get some young fast people then. There is a change in the quality meat they are selling. In the last 5 weeks, had an inedible Burgundy Beef, tasteless NY strip that was tough and very tough,dry center cut chops. I like this Sentry. They carry a wide variety of brands. It seems to me that they added some high end brands to differentiate themselves from the new Super Walmart and Super Target, while maintaining the more economic ones. They have a very complete Deli, they carry a limited selection of Prime Meats, their produce is good and fairly priced. This Sentry employs friendly, helpful staff. We visited your store on Sunday the 20th. We had 10 or so items and the young man at #7 checkout called us over. He was very polite and obviously diligent about his job. Half way through our checkout a woman appeared and started speaking to him, telling him what to do, when to do it, cover this, contact that and REALLY stopped him from finishing our transaction. We had only the few items, there was no one behind us and this intrusion could clearly have waited until we/he finished. She was very obviously flustering him somewhat, and just kept on. I spoke up and said "couldn't this wait until he was done checking us out, he is obviously busy". Lisa H (the name on her tag) just looked at me like I had suggested she kiss off. I said to her "we only have a few things". She responded "its ok he needs to have his instructions, its part of our operations procedure here, and you will be gone in a couple of minutes". I almost dropped my teeth! Yep she was right, we were gone in a couple of minutes...but not before she continued to pelt this young man with orders. AGAIN....no one in line behind us. I'm not sure who she is related to that she holds the position she does but its a misfit. Rude...very! To answer back to a customer...unnecessary! Our next visit to your store....questionable! I am not a complainer, but this was way beyond a reasonable response from her. As an added thank you, she spouted a syrupy sarcastic "have a great day" as we walked away. We love your store and travel all the way from Oconomowoc to shop there, but I have to tell you, I don't need the sassy mouth on a woman that is CLEARLY old enough to know better. read more
