I have been having behavioral issues with my dog, who is part of our family. When he nipped my son, we were told by just about everyone we should put our dog down. It was heartbreaking. If I could give Tim an infinite number of stars I would. He's incredible. He turned my punk dog into an incredibly well trained (I mean INCREDIBLY well trained) good boy. I can trust my dog off leash, he walks at a heel, comes when called, stays as long as I ask him to, and it's all thanks to Tim. Tim truly understands dogs, and dogs LOVE him. Tim is also just an all around nice guy. Yes, he's sometimes hard to get ahold of the first time, but that's just because he's in high demand. I can't say enough about how awesome Tim is. Tim doesn't train dogs, he trains owners how to handle their dogs. His methods work. We found him 10 years ago when we got a new dog from the shelter who needed some help. He helped us turn her into one of the best dogs ever. She recently passed away and we found ourselves with a new puppy. As his techniques were so awesome we looked him up again. Turns out he's now the most popular dog trainer around (no surprise!). It took some time but we got a weekly slot for one on one training as well as a weekly group training. Our pup is only 10 months old and we're now training him to find mushrooms...chanterelle, morel and the ever elusive truffle. Tim is not only an expert on what he does but he makes it fun for the dog owner. If your dog doesn't get trained, its because you didn't bother to put in the daily time needed to reinforce the training. Tim's rates are also quite reasonable. To the reviewer who claims to have spent "thousands" you certainly weren't spending it with Tim or your dog. If you don't have time for your dog you shouldn't have one. read more

This organization's website clearly states "by appointment only". A phone number is given where you can call and leave a message, which I did. I was very interested in checking out their dog training classes. I also decided to find the address listed, just to see how far they were from where I live, and see what it looked like from the outside. We drove out there and found the address. We were just turning around in the road when someone came out to the closed gate with his large dogs in tow to "see what we were doing out here". My husband stated we were interested in finding out more about his dog training classes. He was very unfriendly, and let my husband know that the website clearly states 'by appointment only", and that the website is pretty clear about the classes. We drove away from there as quickly as we could. I'm still waiting to hear back from him regarding the inquiry I left on his message phone. The other reviews I've read are good, except for one that said she never could get hold of anybody to talk to them. I don't think we're going to hear anything back either. We're looking elsewhere. read more

We just finished Tim's intermediate course and plan on doing the advanced one soon, our dog's behavior has improved dramatically! Tim is the best, hands down. Tim is awesome. He is a former military dog handler and former law enforcement dog handler. His approaches are simple and effective, and the training goes from basic obedience to tracking and protection. He is knowldedgeable and affordable.
