I actually had all of them and the MRI revealed a complete tear. I hesitated to return but I was in a lot of pain and decided to give it a try. Through the month or so that I went to the center there was no consistency, no real indication of their grasping the degree of pain and diminished mobility I was experiencing, and no real focus on the task at hand. The therapists or interns changed at each session so if progress was made with a therapist, it was lost when another directed a different course. It was confusing. I felt somewhat better after each session but I never made the progress I had hoped to make. Just as I was starting to see some long term (more than a few hours) improvement the head therapist decides I need no more therapy. He relayed this information in a harsh, nearly rude manner. Of course I left and called the orthapedic surgeon who will be doing my PRP treatments and she recommended that I continue PT with one of her therapists until the PRP injection and afterwards for as long as its needed. Overall, I feel this practice is disorganized, unprofessional, and not focused on the individual clients. At times it has a hectic atmosphere that is distracting and out of control and not at all conducive to a healing experience. Therapists often work with multiple clients and are unable to focus or keep up with them. There are some good therapists there but it is not being adequately managed. I would recommend some corporate oversight to ensure that the center is brought up to a higher standard. I will not atend my next session or return to this center under any condition.

Casey knew immediately what I had since she treats people with my condition in her office. She listened to me, was compassionate and empathic but aside from that she was a person of action. She went out of her way to advocate for me (for days after my appointment). She spoke with my General Practitioner on my behalf and also with several treatment facilities that were closer to my home. Within less than 1 week from my appointment with Casey, I had a formal diagnosis from my GP and now have an appointment to begin treatment for my condition. Casey is a true gem! Another superstar in the office is Anthony!!! Amazing! He is a delight on the phone, as well as, in person. He is cheerful, professional, helpful and very warm! From the first day when I arrived, when the Director greeted me & welcomed me at the door, I have felt comfortable. The staff seems to care a lot which is evident by the quality of care I've been getting. Also, the number of "agency" workers is very low. This translates to a more caring caregiver! The physical therapy & occupational therapies are excellent. The department is fully staffed I addition, the doctor on staff is a geriatrician --a doctor who specializes in care of the elderly. He knows the intricacies of the aging body as well as how medications affect different people. On staff, also, is a dietician who interviews each new resident about what the resident likes & dislikes. Menus are available ahead of time for breakfast, lunch & dinner. Plus there's a list of available selections shouted the resident not like what's on the regular menu. Transportation is available to take residents to misc. doctor appointments. There's a monthly calendar of all scheduled activities. If a person wants an additional activity, staff will accommodate the resident & try to form a group! There is also onsite dialysis treatment.

Relative to other ED & urgent cares i felt the wait was minimal. They have lots of exam rooms, staff who are talented and multi-taskers make this an efficiently run UC. I worked for a hospital and my primary doc is also an urgent care in another city, I've waited 4x longer in those settings. I thought the care and time i received was very good. They have all that was needed for my assessments, xray, EKG, breathing treatments. Only thing i didn't clearly get one of the meds i requested but that was extra. The waiting room is large, so sickies weren't coughing on you. It wasnt that busy so it was comfortable. The doc or PA cant remember which, was thorough, explained things well and i didn't feel rushed. They give you your prescriptions to hand carry to a pharmacy. Went to a Wegmans which had a "special" if you never filled at that soecific store, each Rx up to 5, they give you $10 to use anywhere in the store, how awesome. Anyway i would recommend this location. The only thing they said i would have to go to an ED like Martha Jefferson Sentara if i got worse and needed IV antibiotics, so lets pray i don't want to do that review if i dont need to!
