    Seabass, highlight of the meal!
    Mark B.

Staying in the hotel on business. Looking for a close relaxing and high quality restaurant to enjoy after a long day with my client. Senso was close to hitting the mark. The dings are on service and the appetizer missing the mark. Maitre d' got about half way to my table then handed me the menu and gestures to the table... odd but ok. Then sat there for a while before waiter stopped by to take the order... at that point had to ask for wine menu. The whole meal I just felt like things were slow and not really observant. I would have expected a bit better for a primary restaurant in a top hotel of the city. The highlight of the meal was the seabass. The blend of flavors were well done and very enjoyable. Unfortunately the octopus for the appetizer was left on the grill a bit long and the char soured the dish. Luckily the raw onion and sauce cut it slightly to the point of eatable. On to dessert, their one port, and coffee... let's see how long this takes.

The food is passable, but not rise to the standards of fine dining. The service is slow and disorganized.

Went here after seeing the place mentioned online several times, but were a bit underwhelmed with…read morethe food and service. We sat at a sidewalk table, since it was a lovely night, and were ignored for a while. A few cold rolls were then brought to the table, and a waiter took our order. The house salad had no dressing on it, came with lime halves, which we used together w/ the oil & balsamic vinegar on the table. I ordered Vermicelli Bolognese, which did not have much sauce and was very light on flavor. My husband enjoyed his vegetarian lasagne w/ pomodoro sauce. Strangely there did not seem to be any garlic or many herbs in their version of Italian food. We had walked quite a distance to get to this area/restaurant and did not feel like it was worth the trek.

Best kept Italian secret in Santiago!…read more Why? Because the price is right with huge portions of homemade pasta!! This place is always busy with locals! Definitely a casual place. They also own the cafe across the street and a pick up fresh frozen pasta separate entrance. The restaurant entrance is on the side of the building as if you were entering someones home, and this place keeps on going and going. They obviously kept expanding the restaurant space into different living areas of the location. They have a toy room for the children to play. My personal favorite dining location is in the open air back patio that has small water fountains with flowers in the summer. When ordering in Chile many waiters and restaurants are not willing to change the plate to your specific request. This is not one of them! If a dish has a sauce that usually comes on it and you would prefer a different one not a problem! Im not saying the service is always polite but the food is good. My personal favorite is the homemade ricotta cheese ravioli with nuts and the tomatoes and creme sauce. Ravioli de Ricotta y nueces con sala rossa. Yum! I love it so much that we would go to the take home entrance of the fresh frozen pasta and pick up boxes of the Raviloli - Ricotta y Nueces as well as Ravioli de Ricotta y Jamón and Ravioli de Carne to take home and make for ourselves throughout the month. Whipped up some homemade sauce and its so easy and delicious. 1box is good for 2 adult servings. Definitely recommend this location for tourists during lunch!
