I noticed that there was a truck sitting in the parking lot with a guy just sitting there. I later realized that he was a "spotter" for the towing company. We came out and my car was towed. I called that night, Saturday, and Sunday to get my car out so I wouldn't receive "storage fees". Nobody ever picked up the phone, I left messages every time I called. I used an Uber to get to York Towing that was in the middle of nowhere. They informed me that the total would be $585. I asked that they take off the storage fees because they were unavailable for pick up on Saturday and Sunday. They were towing cars on Saturday & Sunday. They refused to take those fees off. Then informed me that they only except cash. I asked if they had an ATM then. No. This wasn't stated on their company voicemail, or website. I had to get another uber ride to get their cash of $585. This cost me over $600. I was one of around 30 people there to get their car. That's $17,550. On top of this horrible experience, they damaged the bottom of my car, this cost $1,500 to repair. I called to get them to pay for this damage and was told that it was there before they towed it. They wouldn't pay for the damage. I think the town of Danville should consider another tow company to use., They are thieves. In my option they need their towing license revoked.
