She would come in the morning or anytime of the day and he would be wet from urine his bed would be soiled and soaked. Disgusting . The food always cold . My neighbor is there now and he almost died from negligence. Friends went to see him and noticed he was not himself they advised the head nurse he needed antibiotics or something but she said he was fine. That night around 11 o'clock they called his daughter to say he was transferred to the hospital in icu where he almost died because they should have listened to the friends earlier. He was given antibiotics through IV fluids. Now he's back to normal. I don't trust this place don't put your family members here. I would not give any Star of if I could get away with it.

She had suffered a series of small strokes and I wanted her to have more attention than the assisted living staff was able to provide. After the first week of 24-hour per-day companionship my mother's condition improved and Around the Clock was very flexible in scaling back coverage to just one 10:00pm to 6:00am shift. My mother found the presence of the Around the Clock caregivers very comforting. Each person that was with my mom left a page of notes describing what happened and my mother's condition during their shift. It was obvious that each of them was professional, kind, and interested in my mom's welfare. I was very impressed. My wife had a terrible experience with two home care companies in the SF Bay Area when her mother needed that kind of help. The people that came to her mother's home (when they showed up) were irresponsible and often rude. I had low expectations when I sought this care for my mother. The only reason they are getting one star is because the girls even though not as experienced as promised were very sweet. However for $26.00 an hour I expect someone to know how to deal with incontinence and know what an adult diaper is. What I find extremely unprofessional and insulting is Phyllis Pool one of the owners calling me back after I terminated services with a defensive stance stating my mother wanted things done her way. With past experience in healthcare when going into a clients home and caring for their loved one I expected things to be done their way especially when it involved their spouse. The Rude dismissive reply speaks volumes to the way the owner Phyllis treats clients. Thank you for demonstrating, and supporting what I posted. ;) Great business model.
