During August 2026 my brother spent a total of 24 days here. His first stay was 10 days when his…read moretime was up they sent him back to the hospital then after a few days in the hospital he was sent back for more rehab then sent home after 14 days. His stay was due to a spinal cord injury. During his stay he progressively lost function and independence! He also received a hospital acquired infection in his blood. They kept him for an extra few days while treating him for the infection they caused. While he was there almost every thing was done for him! Instead of having him practice daily how to care for himself independently they did it for him and used equipment that he didn't have for use at home. When he was discharged he was sent home without any home health and still unable to do anything independently for himself! He couldn't get himself into the bed because they used a lift at the rehab and he had to use a slide board at home and wasn't sure how. He couldn't get his shoes on because they did it for him instead of teaching him how to use the tools to do it himself. He couldn't get onto the bed side commode with a slide board because they used a lift. THIS Place is not a rehabilitation facility! It's a glorified nursing facility. If you or your loved ones hopes are to learn how to be independent at home don't go here it's not worth the risk! Not only did they send him home without an after care program they sent him home without having any one that could help him at home! We are currently looking for another rehabilitation facility that will actually teach him and help with setting up after care programs.

my husband was at this rehab for 10 days because it was supposed to be wonderful...when i picked…read morehim up he looked worse than when he had been discharged from the hospital. he was disheveled, had not shaved in 10 days..when i got him home he had trouble getting his balance when he got out of the car. no one ever asked me what my goals were for his rehab. the caregiver app was useless. they did not include me, the caregiver, in "care" team meetings. i have concluded they wrote him off rather than trying to improve his physical abilities. the jury is still out...but i think the past 10 days were a waste of time and money.

The recent care experience was different. OT and PT continue to be good. Somehow nursing has changed which was a disappointment ; not sure if there is some burnout for some of the staff. It was noted by many visitors and affected my family members care. Leadership was nice to work with but I'm not sure they are aware of some staff who are quite negative.

I transferred the patient from wheelchair to recliner however, I needed assistance from staff to help me re-position. The staff came to the room, told patient to stand up and use the walker and position herself on the recliner. The staff was very rude and hesitant to help, stated I had to do everything for the patient and left.

If this clinic wants to present itself as a mental health provider, leadership might want to revisit what "care" actually looks like. Walking in, I was immediately met with a barrage of paperwork focused on billing--making sure charges are clear to them, not to you. Not exactly the warmest introduction for someone seeking mental health support. The next interaction was just as impersonal. After giving my name, I was directed to step on a scale and provide measurements--no introduction, no explanation, no basic courtesy. It felt more like processing inventory than welcoming a person. Then came the actual "care" session. The provider launched into a rapid-fire explanation of all the ways the clinic can bill you, delivered with the energy of a fast-talking sitcom character. She shared that she knew I had already been given all of those details though just wanted to recap again. Then, she told me why she thought I was there which was not accurate. I asked her to slow down and please take the time to have dialogue instead of talking at me. She never asked meaningful questions or or make a genuine attempt to understand why I was there, which made any real conversation about mental health impossible. Overall, the experience felt dismissive, disinterested, and transactional from start to finish. The caregiver, in particular, seemed better suited to a role with minimal human interaction - perhaps guarding an empty museum wing, because meaningful engagement was clearly not part of the approach. I am genuinely appalled and disturbed this clinic presents itself as having any aptitude in mental health care. None of them demonstrated an ounce of intellectual curiosity or communication skills which should be critical in caregiving roles.

I have tried reaching out to them since 2025 December because I need a proper document of diagnosis for my son to provide a document to his school. I left voicemail, left messages through the patient portal. When I looked on my messages, they marked my concern "solved", I did not receive anything from them at all. It was a match from the beginning-- she has really clear, professional materials that lay out what she offers in different packages and helped us figure out what we needed. Ultimately we booked 2 nights a week for about 6 weeks. She met us beforehand so we could talk about what we were needing and met my other child to include him in the process, which was lovely. It was such a relief coming home from the hospital with a new baby and knowing that we were going to have support a couple times a week. That first night when postpartum hormones were raging and I was still banged up from birth (IYKYK), Princess was so reassuring, not just in her care for the baby, but also in her care for me. When she brought me the baby, she made sure I had water, snacks, my glasses/phone or anything else I needed. Her manner was so calm and competent that I felt absolutely secure handing her my baby in the night. My husband was also able to get good sleep so he could take even better care of us the next day. The benefits were definitely multifaceted. Even as a second time mom there were so many things she taught me about my baby-- it was incredibly validating when she noticed things and offered support/ideas. We also used some of Nanny in the City's other services which I also recommend! Princess coached us on how to locate a part time nanny and helped us review our candidate via an interview, references, and completed a background check for us. Princess is the perfect blend of professional warmth. We highly recommend her!

Dr. Kurzynske is THE best primary care physician!…read more The office staff are professional and helpful. In urgent situations, they make every effort to assist. Dr. Kyrzynske's nurses are professional andcompassionate. I've never felt rushed as they gather information, review medications, or make notes for Dr. Kurzynske's review. But, it is Dr. Kurzynske who makes one feel like a real person with real value with real issues. He listens attentively, probes to ascertain issues, is not rebuffed by questions, and makes his patients feel like they've been heard and receiving the best medical attention and actions that a primary care physician could offer. He is knowledgeable and trusted to be current in that knowledge. He views patients as whole persons, physically, mentally, and emotionally. He sees the patient in context of their circumstances (i.e., impacted by needs resulting from work and family situations). His compassion is real and comforting. He is forthright in positive and helpful ways. His sense of humor is appreciated. Dr. Kurzynske is one in a billion!

Come to think of it, none of them look healthy. I've seen more diagnostic confidence from the Magic 8-Ball in my kid's toy box. Worst bedside manner I've ever experienced. Has no medical knowledge or recommendations when asked. Women in the office are all overweight and rude except for one. Save yourself the headache and do not go here. If you practice health, you should at least attempt to appear healthy. Dr Pak knows nothing about health.
