Send Smiles met my expectations, and went even beyond, with this latest floral arrangement that I chose to send to celebrate our granddaughter's christening. The selling point for me when I choose Send Smiles is the end product; you get exactly what you see and order. Unlike so many other online floral companies that end up disappointing with arrangements that look nothing like what's advertised. Furthermore, a big shoutout to their excellent customer service, it's always super efficient and most professional. Thank you Send Smiles for making me look good time and again when I gift Smiles to my loved ones and friends.

For anyone wondering it's definitely worth it. Great quality and pricing. Delivery was superb. Very impressed. I got a glimpse of the 'Grateful' bouquet in person and it did not disappoint. Looks just like the photo on the website. The cobalt blue pot was a nice touch. I ordered 'Grateful' and 'Brightest Star' for each of my friends who had birthdays. They were delighted and said the flowers were gorgeous! This is coming from friends who are somewhat flower snobs. Delivery was great and I received instant confirmation.

I found this florist on Yelp. I loved that it is a family business, and has great ratings. I called and ordered an arrangement for my niece in Virginia. I ordered The Garden. My niece loved them. They were beautiful, and delivered on time. I would use this florist again.

Used this service for years, now severely disappointed. Confirmed advance order of a large bouquet, paying for delivery yesterday on 9/21 (a day in advance of our family dinner). Now, "Order Confirmation" & FedEx tracking says the arrangement is sitting in a Baltimore "sort facility" - scheduled for delivery next week on 9/23-24. There is no Call Center service; SendSmiles VM directs you to email them. And I am embarrassed that my arrangement will not only arrive several days AFTER the family event, but also several days old! Shameful customer service, and completely unacceptable business practices.

My daughter and her family recently bought their very first home. They are military and have lived in base housing most of their lives together so this is an exciting time for them. The house is a brand new house and they will be it's first occupants. To congratulate them and to welcome them to their new home I wanted to send them some beautiful flowers. I went online and searched for a "florist in the Lorton, VA area". Up popped Send Smiles, so I started browsing. The arrangements were all lovely and it would have been hard to choose until I happened upon the one named "Purple Houses in Norway". Since they had lived in Norway, the word "houses" was in the title, that's the arrangement I chose. I had the option of two delivery windows. The delivery was free. There were no additional hidden charges, only taxes so this pleased me. The flowers were delivered on time. I received emails to let me know the status of the order from start to finish, including when they were on the way with the delivery. My daughter was thrilled with the arrangement and said it was the nicest arrangement she had seen and she has ordered a lot of flowers over the years. This was a high compliment from her. By far the Best Florist I've found at reasonable prices. Use frequently to send flowers to adult daughter in DC as local delivery at half the cost I get quoted elsewhere & flowers are always fresh and beautiful. Even order National delivery & while it had a few kinks due to weather- Customer service was awesome in re-sending a fresh bouquet and giving me a large refund for the inconvenience. My friends and I wanted to send a beautiful bouquet of flowers to our friend who was released from the hospital. She has superb taste when it comes to interior design and home décor; so I wanted to make sure we picked out something OVER THE TOP for her. We selected, "The House by the Garden". I was ordering last minute flowers for my best friends birthday, and they offered same day services as long as you order before 4, so I picked them for that reason alone. They also have plants to choose from if you don't want flowers which I love because we are both plant people! I ordered at 10:30 and I got a call at 11:45 saying the order was dropped off- insanely fast service!! Plus the guy on the phone could not have been nicer. If I had had an option to tip him, I would have. The pricing may seem high for what you're ordering but for one, it includes the delivery, so no extra fees when you go to checkout which I know I haven't seen before with this type of service. Two, it got to her doorstep in less than an hour and a half!! That was amazing and completely unexpected. My only recommendation for them would be to add some additional add-ons! They do have some chocolates and a candle but I knew she wouldn't go for either of those. If there was some balloon options or some type birthday decoration I would have happily added on. 15/10. I don't live in the area but whenever I have an excuse to use them I absolutely will be. My best friend is also so impressed she's going to start using them as well. read more

So HAPPY! I found Send Smiles online as I was searching for a florist in Vienna, VA. I was impressed by their website and prices so I decided to take a chance. I chose a Peace Plant for $59 in lieu of flowers to send as a congratulations to a relative. They got the delivery the next day , as promised, and it's absolutely beautiful!!! My relative loves it and loves that it will be something they have for a very long time. Peace Plants are designed to bring calm and positive energy to your space. I have received 2 arrangements from this business in the past 6 months and let me tell you! It is not only fresh and beautiful. I can see how much heart is put in every bouquet. They are very tasteful and all the details.. for instance they have an inner liner inside of the vase so you won't see the yucky water in a couple of days. And the box they put the vase in is beautiful too. Totally recommend. I had so many issues with Teleflora and FTD and will never go anywhere else again except this floral shop. read more

I was very pleased to find this business, especially since I am not local, so can't easily pop into a store and talk to the owner to learn more about the flowers. But it was an easy online process. I planned to send flowers for my mom who lives in Virginia for her birthday. Instead of the standard 1-800 flowers, I wanted to choose a local florist in the area that offered delivery and support a small business. After some research of northern Virginia florists who offer delivery on flower bouquets, I chose Chaya Floral, which I highly recommend. Chaya Floral's website was easy to use, with a good amount of floral bouquets to choose from for delivery. Compared to other florists, Chaya is more expensive. However, their arrangements are high-quality with fresh flowers and lovely designs. It's worth the money. I chose the "Touch of Love" design, which was modern and chic, which I knew my mom would love. When checking out, you can add items for an extra charge, so I added a balloon with the bouquet and made sure to place it a few days before my mom's birthday for delivery. They cannot deliver on the same day, so plan ahead. On delivery day, my mom was not at home at the time when the florist attempted to deliver, so the florist called me and let me know that instead of leaving it at the door, she would drive out and deliver it again in a few hours, which I appreciated since it was raining that day and we didn't want the flowers to be outside in the rain. The bouquet looked very similar to what's displayed online, and they also indicate that if certain flowers aren't available, they will substitute flowers of equal or higher quality. Also, instead of a typed message, the florist handwrites the message on a card for an extra touch. I'm very glad I found Chaya Floral and would highly recommend using Chaya for flowers in the northern Virginia area.

First of all, working with Barbara in itself was one of our favorite parts- she lends such a great, quirky, humorous, but warm energy to the experience that made us feel at ease and taken care of. She encouraged coming out to her farm whenever we could to see the flowers, containers, and candles, and to discuss all of the nitty gritty details. Growing Wild is unique in that they grow and supplement with their own flowers on Barbara's amazing northern VA farm property in addition to wholesale purchased florals. She has much more flex and creativity in what flowers can be used on your day. So, what does this mean? This means that on our LATE JUNE wedding, we got luxurious and highly coveted peonies and ranunculus from the farm!!! These normally are ephemeral May only flowers. It's clear that Barbara and her team have such an expert understanding of blending colors, textures, and moods (yes, flowers have moods!) that if you just give her your color palette, wedding vibe, and budget, she can comfortably take it from there. I had a vision from the start and she understood completely what I wanted and how to deliver with great tips and tricks to tie in other elements I hadn't even considered. If I brought in ideas, Barbara found a way to make it happen. Now, let's talk about budgeting. Growing Wild was so understanding and respectful of having a clear budget and staying close to or within it. Barbara was straightforward about what would cost more, how to stay within budget, what was worth it and what wasn't, and was so reasonable with pricing and worked so well with us in our pricing comfort zone. She knows all the tricks to getting the best bang for your buck, including lots of floral repurposing. On my wedding day, I was absolutely blown away by the florals and there is no question the tone, beauty, and visual experience they set for everyone on the day. The colors, the artful arrangements, the creativity, the variety....wow!!! They even repurposed the flowers on our arch to below our sweetheart table which created an amazing look. Many arrangements had multiple purposes and gave me such joy to see used more than once- the bridesmaids bouquets in clear vases near the welcome area, the ceremony chair posies used on tables at cocktail hour and on the outside steps at our reception, and the two large aisle arrangements creatively flanking our greenery/neon sign wall (which I didn't think of and never would have, and was so excited to see when I walked in- genius for awesome photos). Barbara's daughter Lindsey did most of the floral coordination and set up on the day of and she was similarly just as awesome and artful with the entire experience. Barbara and the Growing Wild team, you all made our floral dreams come true and we can't imagine our day without you in it. I'll never forget all of our flowers; from my bouquet, to the ceremony arch, to the high and low arrangements, to the whimsical welcome sign arrangement... the list goes on and on. I recently ordered flowers for my daughter's birthday. The arrangement was exactly as pictured in the web site at SendSmiles, very beautiful, if not even better than the picture. Customer service was very prompt in contacting me to confirm my order, and sent an e-mail to inform me that the order was on its way, and another e-mail to confirm the delivery to my daughter. Communication with SendSmiles was superb. I have ordered flowers from other florists in the past, but never had the outstanding experience that I've had with SendSmiles. My daughter was thrilled with the arrangement, and sent me a photo, not only of the arrangement, but the big, bright smile on her face. Fantastic service and speedy delivery all for a very reasonable price. They delivered a wonderful dish garden to my Uncle in the hospital on a Sunday within 3 hours of me ordering online. I couldn't believe it; and to top it all off, delivery was free! Their website was super easy to use; the whole ordering process only took a few minutes. I received order and delivery confirmation e-mails along the way. It was the most pain-free purchasing experience I've had in a long time. I needed flowers to be delivered right away today, a Saturday less than a week before Christmas, to a friend who I just found out is going through a COVID-related crisis. I needed something nice but couldn't spend a fortune. The big national floral delivery companies make you pay extra for delivery and to make the arrangement look like their photo (deluxe version) and their same-day delivery wasn't available on Saturday afternoon. I found Send Smiles and found a nice wintry arrangement, and it was delivered about two hours after I ordered it. Their price for the arrangement in their photo is everything but tax. Send Smiles was so easy, fast and helpful with their floral delivery. I made a last minute decision to send a family member flowers for her birthday; however, the majority of flower shops and services weren't available for Sunday deliveries. I originally ordered flowers for one occasion; however, I had them sent to the wrong address. The representative reached out to me immediately to request an accurate delivery address. After several days of being unable to get the right address, I requested to have the flowers sent to another recipient. The representative was so gracious and advised it would not be a problem. I provided a new address and message for the card. I was given several delivery options that were within a close window. The beautiful flowers were delivered as promised and the recipient was very surprised and pleased. I am definitely going to use them for future flower deliveries. About a month ago, I ordered flowers to be delivered to a good friend who suffered a tragic accident. A delivery was attempted, but the Intensive Care Unit would not accept the flowers. As it was my fault that I didn't check on the policy, I figured the order was a loss. However, I was wrong! Not only did the staff keep me informed of the failed attempt, they attempted again to deliver to reception a day or two later. When this failed as well, I thought for sure I lost the order. Nope! A month after the order and two failed attempts, the shop not only delivered to my friends house, but with an entirely new and more beautiful arrangement! Incredible customer service!!!! read more

I'm blown away. Every business should operate as smoothly, transparently, and at this level of quality. SUCH incredible value - so many florists charge completely exorbitant prices for pretty unimpressive bouquets. The roses I ordered were lush, colorful, beautifully arranged and I paid less than I would have pretty much anywhere else. AND free delivery?! They were also transparent about the fact that they coudln't guarantee delivery times but STILL honored my request for a specific delivery window. I also received communication when the order was placed, when it was on its way, and confirmation that it had been delivered. Seriously, this is the gold standard. read more

The flowers that were delivered to my daughters and son-in-laws house in Centreville, VA for their anniversary were beautiful. They were even nicer then the picture on the Send Smiles website. The yellow and purple flowers with the beautiful greenery was spectacular. They sent a picture and thanked us for the fancy flowers. Very pleased with this Flower shop and will return again to make a purchase. We live in Michigan and are pleased with this shop in Virginia. I am always hesitant to order flowers online but decided to give it a try. I ordered a beautiful bouquet of flowers for my friend's 70th birthday. The flower/arrangement that was sent to her matched the photo selection on their website and I also liked how I could select a 4 hour window for delivery, as other florists did not allow me to select a time of day to deliver the flowers. The delivery was also on time (I ordered flowers to be delivered to Washington DC). Given the ease of the online purchase, high quality of flowers at a decent price and the beautiful arrangement designs, I would definitely order from this local florist again. read more

I've used Send Smiles twice recently and I am more than pleased with the experience. I liked the wide selection of flower arrangements and I received very nice comments from the recipients of the flowers about how nice the flowers were. The email updates from Send Smiles were very helpful to me. On one one order I made an error on the address and Send Smiles quickly notified me that there was a problem so I could correct the address. I ordered flowers on a Sunday and the flowers were delivered the same day. Wanted to send my sister a pretty arrangement in Ashburn, VA this past Saturday as it was a tough day for her. After reading bad reviews on many of the other options available, I stumbled upon Send Smiles. I cannot begin to say what an easy process it was to choose my arrangement, and have it delivered within a few hours. My "special instructions" were: please ring bell and leave arrangement on porch. There delivery time frame is 8-6 pm , I requested to have them delivered by 430 before my wife leaves work. They delivered after she left work, they went above and beyond what I ever would have expected! The original order that my wife walked into the next morning was amazing! I sent a bouquet to my cousin for her 18th birthday. I placed my order at 7pm and they arrived the next day at 3pm! The bouquet was beautiful and just as pictured. I was unable to order a flower delivery for my wife's birthday when I wanted to as my credit cards were lost. When I did receive a new card I ordered flowers to be sent the day of her birthday and they delivered them that day as promised. In addition to delivering them on very short notice, I have used other florists and the prices at Send Smiles are dramatically lower than their competitors. We decided to get a bouquet for a special family event very last minute. Not only did the flowers arrive within a 24 hours, they were BEAUTIFUL. The sunflowers even had dew drops on the petals. Impeccable customer service and delivery. My sister and I purchased roses late in the day on the eve of Mother's Day. The roses were delivered on Mother's day without incident.
