I wanted to make sure to detect any potential cancer early. I came in and the PA that saw me (this was a few years ago, so I don't remember who!) listened to my concerns and advised me on the different things I could do. I have also come in for concerns regarding irritated piercings and most recently for my yearly skin cancer screening. Dr. Zahir was the provider for my piercing concern as well as for my annual skin cancer screening. He listened to my concerns, answered my questions and gave me recommendations on how to approach my irritated piercing, and I was really happy with the service. He provided thorough screening for my annual skin cancer screening and also answered a lot of my questions with great detail. I really appreciated the thorough service because I have seen a couple dermatologists previously when I was traveling, and I felt they were not nearly as thorough as he was. I spend a lot of time outdoors and under the sun, so it's really imperative that the provider is very thorough in case there are questionable changes or growths! Prevention and early detection are key! They have 3 offices in the area: Ashburn, Purcellville and Winchester. I believe the providers rotate their time in a couple, or all 3, of the offices, so you may be able to see them in the different locations. They also used to not have providers available for Wednesday in the Ashburn location, but they have recently opened up a couple hours and I was able to visit during a day off on a Wednesday, very convenient! Overall, I'm very much satisfied with the services I've received and will continue to come back for future concerns or preventatives.
