Folks have complained about being followed or heavily scrutinized inside. I could see why people might say that, it is a huge space and I'm sure they're trying to deter would be shoplifters. Some of the merchants inside are reasonably priced, others are a little bit more pricey. However, overall, I find that there are much better value than some of the boutiques that line the sidewalks in Oceanside or Carlsbad for instance. I ended up with a couple of air plants, nearly bought a beaded carpet bag type thing, but decided that I don't know when I would use it. They have two other locations in San Diego. Would definitely check them out if I was in the area.

Not a unique choice, but that was because we tried to order three "specials" of the "daily specials" card were not available, huh? Why have a special if not available. Strange note: a group of 3 people came in, were told to pick a table, they sat at a 6 chair table (12 or so total tables in the place) then the waitress asked them to move to a smaller table in case a big party needed the table. First, it was 1pm on Monday. Second, we were the only two groups in the place. Third, if a large group had come, they could easily move a couple of the other 10 tables around. I would have moved to another table at a different restaurant. Nothing seemed customer focused. Maybe that's why it was empty, usually empty when we walk by. UPDATE: Aug 2013- Went back on a Friday night with some friends and accidentally arrived just before the "show." The staff was super nice and squeezed us into a side table which was very nice. We ordered some sides and different foods, all were VERY good. The price was very fair based on how well we were treated. We will be back often to enjoy. Thank you!
