Made my account and uploaded our forms. Over a week and he never contacted me for any further clarifications or other supporting documents and didn't even bother to file the extension. I call him for an update and he was thinking he needed to file my 2024 tax return which wasn't what I asked for. He chooses to not take my 2nd call and emails me that he could longer work on my return because it's too complicated...and he tells me this 2 days before tax deadline, the 13th. He probably would not have emailed me if didn't reach out to him. The more I think about it, the more I realize he was just googling how to file an ITIN. Lack of communication, unreliable, still needs more experience.

Over those four years, I cycled through multiple accountants and always came out the other side feeling confused, second-guessing whether things were done right, and honestly more stressed than when I started. MashCPA changed that. This is the first year I've felt genuinely confident in my taxes. Denis takes the time to meet with me regularly and actually explains things in a way that makes sense - no jargon, no hand-waving, just clarity. Having them in my corner has let me focus on the parts of my business I actually love, without dreading March 15th hanging over my head. Can't recommend them enough.

Two items led me to discontinue using their service. I'm only going to share one because I don't want to completely ridicule them. I had a relatively complex tax question where I needed my accountant and real estate agent on a call to discuss tax implications of a transaction. When Armik came on the phone I quickly realized that he didn't know anything about my tax history. Not only had he not prepared for the call he also failed to realize that I was his client and only after giving me poor advice asks me to contact my personal accountant. When I tell him that he is in fact my accountant, he doesn't seem embarrassed by the mistake, doesn't apologize. Here I am trusting my accountant to give me solid advice and he doesn't even know me. The worst part is that a week later I get a bill for an absurd amount for his 15 minutes on the call. Useless and expensive for relatively little customer service.

Are you on yelp to find help with your IT needs? Look no further, you won't be disappointed…read more I didn't know where to start my search for a managed service IT vendor and since I basically go to yelp for just about everything, why not? I started working at a company that had the worst IT vendor and I wanted a quick change. Kevin at CyberDuo reassured us that they would be able to help us smoothly transition over to them. 2.5 years later we are still very happy with the service they provide us on a regular basis. Just recently, our 20 employee business was purchased by a very large public organization and they have put Kevin and the team through a whirlwind of requests, demands, etc., and they are just as responsive as ever. For example, if you call their toll free 24 hour support, a human actually picks up. If you send a service request, I'd be shocked not to hear back within 10-15 minutes. Cyber security...they know it well. Migrating to new email platform, a non-issue. VoIP phones - easy transition and held our hands through every step.
