Comic book booth.
Will G.

Tons of booths. Antiques, primitives, collectibles, furniture, comics Just about anything.

Sheila C.

This is a neat place that seems to just keep growing. I was in this mall type facility a year ago when it was only one room. Now it has expanded tremendously. Each booth is new adventure in "stuff". Each has it's own flavor and own pricing; some high, some lower. There is one consistency in my visits, the staff. This facility seems to be short handed and employees seem to be "bothered" when you need assistance to open a locked case. However, if you can over look them this place is a lot of fun and has some great finds.

What a cool, eclectic assortment of......stuff. There's retro clothing and vinyl in one room and…read moresmoking accessories in the other. I'm sure the vintage apparel is all fine & dandy, as others have commented, but what I'm interested in is their smoke secsh. I've bought a few things from them in the past, beginning with a blue Sharpstone grinder I got three years ago. The threads have gotten worn down since (and I lost the little scoopie, sad day!) so I ventured back downstairs to peruse their wares. I found a medium-sized silver Sabertooth grinder for $25, which was less than other smoke shops in the area. The employees have always been helpful and chill (a prerequisite to work here, no doubt), and they treat their customers well. A few Aprils ago, on 4/20, they gave away free handpipes for anyone that made a $10 purchase, which I thought was awesome. They have a nice assortment of vapes, waterpipes, and one-hitters, too. Good hookah collection and lots of shisha to choose from, if that's your thing. Even after 'shopping around' for the lowest prices on pipes and whatnot, Amused still had the best deals in West Lafayette. Cool people and quality products at a reasonable price point. They've definitely earned my repeat business.

Her husband Bill specializes in making spoon rings out of antique spoons ($35), some spoons are sterling silver ($50-$80). You can have the ring you select sized for you. If you decide to do this, it is helpful to be wearing a ring that fits well to give him a starting point. There are many copper handmade items that can be used as the charm of a bracelet or the pendant of a necklace. Each charm is geniously displayed on metal trays held on by a magnet. I bought a gingerbread man charm ($20) and it came with either a leather strap for a necklace, or metal links with a lobster claw clasp for a bracelet. Also on display, are sterling silver antique charms that Melody stated she gets from a reclaimer (if she didn't purchase them, they would be melted down). I bought a sterling silver spoon ring ($65) and a unique reclaimed handmade sterling ring ($15). I also found a cute hummingbird pin costume jewelry piece ($5). I got an attractive silver chain necklace with a marquisite cross and a Celtic charm all from her reclaimed section. This is a good place to get a gift at the last moment and a great store to browse frequently to see what's new !
