I had my lasik surgery on July 9, 2007, in Johnson City, TN. They gave me mono vision. It was difficult to adjust to at first...they gave me presription eye glasses to drive with since my depth perception was "off balance". I have been back at least four times for a worsening in my vision. They have told me that it is not bad enough for a "touch up" because the risk outweighed the benefit...the more they "burn" my eyes, the greater risk of my going blind exists. I had the surgery done to no longer have to wear glasses. Now, I have two dimensional vision. The night before last, I painted my toenails with a magnifying glass with one eye closed. I have to drive an hour and forty five minutes to be turned down again. My husband will not drive me because he knows that I will be turned down again, and he does not want to take the time from work. I am afraid to drive there alone in case they finally decide that they can help me. I paid nearly $4,000.00 for a lifetime care program!!!! FOR WHAT???!!! I have headaches and nausea DAILY!!! I have a hard time driving to work and have to severely focus on finding the road in front of me. Honestly, once they got my money, they could care less about my dissatisfaction!!!!!! I wish I had never had it done. SueAnn Chapman, Saltville, VA 276-780-8313 read more
