Everything feels organized and calm, which makes a big difference for dental procedures. Dr. Salib is exceptionally professional and clearly an expert at what he does, but what really stands out is his amazing bedside manner. He explains everything clearly, takes his time, and has a way of putting you completely at ease -- which is incredibly comforting, especially when you're going through something like dental implants. It's rare to find a specialist who combines technical excellence with such a reassuring, patient-centered approach. I felt confident and well cared for every step of the process. Highly recommend Dr. Salib if you're looking for an oral surgeon you can truly trust.

Not to forget the courtesy call from Dr Salib the evening of my procedure. Top notch dental team.

On my last visit, I was so anxious that before we even got started, Dr. Mostofi took the time to sit with me, talk me through my fears, and make me feel genuinely supported. That alone set him apart. During the procedure, the vibration from the drill became too overwhelming, and I stopped him -- not once, not twice, but eight times. Every single time, without a hint of frustration, he stopped, checked in with me, and waited until I was ready to continue at my own pace. His patience and compassion were extraordinary. By the eighth stop, rather than pushing through, he came up with a thoughtful plan: he rescheduled my appointment, prescribed Valium to help me relax the night before and the morning of the procedure, and suggested I swap my regular AirPods for noise-canceling headphones to block out the sounds that were triggering my anxiety. The difference was night and day. When I came back, we got through the entire procedure smoothly and comfortably. I left that chair feeling proud of myself -- and that's entirely because of the care and creativity Dr. Mostofi brought to my situation. The office staff deserves just as much praise. They are warm, welcoming, and always ready to help with a genuine smile. I cannot recommend this office highly enough. If you've ever avoided the dentist out of fear or anxiety, Dr. Mostofi is exactly the doctor you've been looking for. He doesn't just treat your teeth -- he takes care of you as a whole person.

She had a horizontally…read moreimpacted lower wisdom tooth, which is one of the most challenging types of extractions because it lies extremely close to the main nerve. The tooth had caused repeated inflammation, and a highly-rated oral surgeon in Orange County declined to take the case due to the high risk involved. Dr. Nguyen carefully showed us the imaging on the screen and explained that the safest approach would be to section the tooth and remove it in parts, although there was a possibility that the entire tooth could be removed depending on the surgical conditions. His explanation was clear, detailed, and reassuring -- like a professor discussing a complex case in a medical school setting. The surgery went smoothly, and remarkably, he was able to extract the entire tooth without disturbing the main nerve in the lower jaw. This outcome truly feels like a miracle to us. We are deeply grateful to Dr. Nguyen and will remember his skill and dedication for the rest of our lives.

Doris at the front desk was FANTASTIC in helping my wife fast track me, even though i was a new patient. She went out of her way and juggled patients throughout the day to move up my appointment time. The office felt like a spa (not kidding). EVERYONE put me at ease despite the pain I was in. All the staff were great. Dr Nguyen was extremely patient and clear in setting expectations. The surgery was done perfectly (according to my dentist) and they were continually following up to check on me. To top all of that off, their pricing was very fair and forgiving. It sounds weird to say, given that it was non-elective oral surgery, but I am so happy with my experience here!

While this is a lengthy review. If you feel your dental care and the costs are important to you,…read morethen I recommend you read the entire thing. This is probably my fourth glowing review for Aliso Creek Dental. I have severe leukemia with spinal cord and neurologic impairments that cause me so much more time to accommodate my dental care without causing intense spinal and and nerve pain in my neck. The dental care is painless. The dental technicians, especially the Sheba, who, I have known the longest, is cheerful and very accommodating. She even remembers things about me and my son from visits a year prior. That is a personal and professional relationship. Transferring me from the wheelchair to the dental chair, and making me comfortable during procedures, allows me to tolerate the consultations and treatments comfortably. What is particularly gracious is that the dentist and staff go out of their way, even to the extent of straining their own backs to accommodate my position in the chair due to leukemia and a severe spinal cord injury. Everyone shows empathy that far greater than the dentists I have seen for over 50 years. I also had the honor and pleasure to have a new dentist associate provide my care. Her name is Ava Manoochen, DDS. Hopefully I spelled her name correctly. I have never had a female dentist before. Now, I prefer one. She greeted me with the most beautiful awe striking smile and her work was flawless and done with consideration to my disability. Even having to twist her back and possibly step on her toes to reach where I could not move. The staff constantly ask how you are doing or if you need a break. With my multiple disabilities, I should ask them the same question. Of course, Sheba, a long time dental assistant, treats me like a relative and not a patient. She knows how to help and does everything to make me comfortable. Everyone's kindness and compassion is real and not rehearsed. It also helps that Aliso Creek Dental has all specialties available in the office. Including a periodontist and oral surgeon. I had an abscessed tooth a few years ago. The periodontist, opened and drained the abscess and did a painless root canal procedure that immediately solved the infection and pain. All on the same day my general dentist at the practice called for the consultation due to my severe pain and risk of sepsis due to my leukemia. I was surprised when my bill was so low. Dentists may seem overpaid. But in reality, the overhead costs make a dental practice nearly impossible to be profitable. Especially when the dental insurance reimbursement is so low and hasn't changed in over 20 years. I am a retired doctor and understand how difficult it is to survive. Especially for new dentists who have to pay off student loans and are forced to work in dental mills and pushed to do unneeded work to receive performance bonuses just to survive. My friends, venture capitalists are buying up medical, dental and veterinary practices and treating the doctors like servants and removing all of their autonomy to provide good and only necessary care. Fortunately, Aliso Creek Dental is privately owned and operated by a dentist couple for several years. I have been a patient of Aliso Creek Dental for many years. They have never recommended dental work that was unnecessary. They do not inflate their fees or attempt to upsell you dental work you don't need for their financial gain. I appreciate them accommodating my appointments on days have the strength to get out of bed. In the past I have needed to cancel appointments due to weakness and severe pain. They never charge me a cancellation fee and never get upset at me for cancelling and disrupting their schedule. The appointment time is the real appointment time. I have never had to wait. When I arrive I am taken back immediately. Behind every well operated business is the owner who deserves special mention. Dr. Mona Saati ( I hope the spelling is correct), is an owner who is personally involved in every aspect of the practice. She is a servant leader and not a ruler. A servant centered leader inspires associates to follow her lead and the associates are happy to do so. A ruler forces the employees to follow strict rules and shows no grace. Her sort of servant centered leader creates happy employees who share their happiness with patients. I was a doctor who had over 250 employees and 555 elderly residents and patients needing different levels of care. Helping residents, patients and their families be happy and satisfied with care requires employees who are served by their leader and not ruled. They pass this service mentality to their patients. This the story of Aliso Creek Dental that I am honored to tell. Bless you all for your service to the community. With gratitude, Dr. Steven Ross

I think if you are coming here for cleanings, then it's a fair place to visit. They weren't the…read moregentlest cleaners for sensitive teeth in my opinion, but they certainly weren't bad cleanings and not overly painful. They were very thorough with the ultrasonic cleaner especially around my permanent retainer, and always got all the tea staining off of my teeth. However, on multiple visits I found myself feeling highly uncomfortable with how they push you to do additional procedures. I was told I had three cavities to fill, and then immediately asked if I just wanted to get them all done today. For some this might stand out as convenience, but for me, when I'm there at 4pm, it's a red flag. Am I going to get the best treatment? Are they going to rush because everyone wants to go home? Moreover I have never visited another dentist that brings patients in for cleanings and then tries to fix cavities on the spot. And I have never been to another dentist that tries to do three in one day. For me, it was an uncomfortable ask, and they didn't take it lightly when I refused. It's uncomfortable because it feels like they're trying to get you to sign off without thinking about it too much. I have a limited opening, TMJ, arthritis, the whole nine yards, which I told each dentist I saw at Aliso Creek Dental, so for them to then heavily push for me to have three fillings done in one day, it showed a continuous lack of care and concern for my preexisting conditions that would have made it difficult for me to accomplish having my mouth open that long. It would have been extremely painful. I turned them down to have everything done that day and they weren't happy about it, and afterward they proceeded to contact me weekly, sometimes multiple times a week about scheduling fillings. I continued to visit this office a few more times, each time assigned to a different dentist, just sort of shrugging off my discomfort about going there. I thought maybe I was being too sensitive and that maybe this was just the normal way that dentists operate these days. But I started to get really uncomfortable with them when I went in for tooth pain. The pain was in a tooth that I had been told needed to come out eventually, but could be left alone as long as it wasn't bothering me. It wasn't bothering me for the longest time so I put it on the backburner. I went to Aliso Creek Dental when I started having pain, and they told me there was an infection and they would prescribe antibiotics but it needed to be pulled. Just as with the cavities they saw, they pushed me to get it pulled right there and have a bone graft started for future implant, that day, under local anesthesia. But they also told me I needed an expensive 3D scan not covered by insurance first, because it was close to a nerve. So I was thinking...if it's this close to a nerve then how is it safe for you to pull it here, scan or not, without a surgeon? To try to win over the conversation they told me they had their own oral surgeon "if I wanted to be sedated for it" as if that's the only reason a surgeon would be necessary. Moreover when I told them I have a history of jaw issues, bite issues, etc and that my teeth move fast in my small mouth, and that I had concerns related to all this, they brushed off that info and continued to treat it like any other tooth pull. In the end I started antibiotics but declined to have them pull it. I didn't feel comfortable and didn't get the sense that I was getting an honest, unbiased opinion there, and it felt like they were only recommending things to me for their own benefit, not mine. So, I went to another dentists office, and requested a second opinion. The second opinion was a huge improvement, with a doctor who was willing to tell me what he did or didn't feel was safe, and what was or wasn't possible. For example, he pointed out that due to limited space an implant might not even be possible, but due to my occlusion it also might not be needed. He told me it wasn't safe to do this extraction in a dental office and referred me out to a doctor capable of mitigating potential nerve damage. He also searched my mouth thoroughly and did not find a single real cavity. It was really very comforting to hear unbiased fact-based truth from a dentist, even when the truth means he doesn't profit as much off of me. I never got that at Aliso Creek Dental.
