I am so glad I did! Having a mini split A/C that was completely under my control and a shower in my own room was a luxury that I was grateful to have after being active outdoors all day everyday! Had I been in one of the tents with what seemed like questionable ventilation, my experience may have been quite different. First of all, they have an easy system to book online. Any emails I sent received a response within a day! That was very helpful! There are three different wifi options depending on your location in the two main buildings, so that was also nice. The location is on the southern end of Tulum pueblo, not by the beach. There are bikes for rent at 120 pesos/day (you can get one cheaper in town for about 100 pesos/day, but at the time of this writing, it's only about $1/day difference. It was about 5 min ride to the Meztli Spanish school in the center of town, but you do have to cross the main Avenida, which can be busy with traffic. The tents ran about $60 USD/day and you have common restroom/shower you share with the other tents. 2stalls & showers for men and 2 for women. The suite I was in was $85 USD/day, not cheap by Mexico standards, but in the US you'd get a crappy room at a cheap hotel for that price! There us a solid wooden gate for security and each patron is given a key so if they need to enter past 11pm they can access the gate. You walk in and directly walk up to reception on a gravel walkway. There are several tents to the right and the shower/bathroom are just beyond that. Behind reception is a small building are two suites, a large one and a smaller one (where I stayed) which shares a porch. Just beside that and past the tents is a small two story building with three more suites. Beside that, a lovely little pool and to the right of the pool, the restaurant Flow, with a great outdoor seating area covered with trees and a covered part with 5 tables with a bench along the wall and swings on the other side of each table! Just past the restaurant is a large screened-in open air gazebo in which they have yoga lessons at 8:30 am and 7pm every day for 100 pesos a class. You must pay at the reception and receive a ticket which you give to the instructor. I did yoga there during a thunderstorm and it was so cool, it was almost cliche! The staff is super friendly and are happy to let you practice your español! I will definitely stay here next time I am in Tulum! Me encanta Harmony hotel!

The cons were many: There was almost no water from the tap, the shower had very little water pressure, the water took forever to heat up (if it heated up at all, it didn't the last day) the bikes were ancient (Don't rent from here) they never gave us more soap, shampoo or conditioner after the first day, they didn't clean one of the days. They don't use a fitted sheet on the mattress, so if you are a mover while you sleep, you will end up tangled. They do have a massage therapist that will come, and does a great job (though a table with a face-cradle would have made it better.). They will do the massage in your room, which is a little awkward for the other people in your party if they want to sit in the AC as well. Overall, I would probably recommend the place because for the price it's OK. It isn't horrific, it's clean with no bugs, and overall decent. There were a lot of small irritants that just added up.

Valentine's evening dinner had full decorations, long stem roses for every lady, a cute backdrop for photo ops, and an exciting fire and acrobatic show, poolside. Concierge delivered a cute little Valentine's Day dessert to our room later in the evening. They also coordinated some cool surprises with me for my gorgeous wife, celebrating our anniversary: 1) A full spread of breakfast in bed complete with mimosas 2) A romantic decoration of flower petals and over 15 photos of us on our bed when we came home for the day. There were plenty of food options as well, we found Jasmine and Olio to be our favorite restaurants. The daily breakfast at Market Cafe was solid, with many varieties and choices. The waitstaff are always friendly and helpful, consistently responding "placer" (pleasure, reminded me of Chik Fil A). The private beach club is only a 10 minute shuttle away. The steak and shrimp skewers along with chips and guacamole was perfect for us... simple, fresh and consistent while enjoying the beautiful beaches of Tulum, compete with palm trees, umbrellas, bottomless food/drink. It's pretty hard to beat the fine white sand, multiple blues of the ocean, gentle breeze and warm sun here. On top of all that, there were daily events and activities at the resort for those who want to hang out, mingle and get out there. But there's also plenty of spaces for quiet, chill and relaxing. We loved the 2 person soaking tub on our balcony. There was only a minor issue that I had and actually heard the same from other guests. There's a few items that ARE charged for, AND they don't tell you that ahead of time (it was the $15 coconut at the beach club for us, while another guest lamented about the $240 tomahawk at blue water grill). While I understand not everything is included, I find it deceptive to offer something and not tell the guest the price before they make their decision. All in all, for what/how we paid and what we got we fully enjoyed our time and would gladly return again.

The only thing that I wish was different is that they ran out of tequila and Mezcal at the beach club so I had to switch to rum. Not the worst problem in the world I really love that the resort is adults only. I think I'm a little bit spoiled that my introduction to all inclusive is at this property. We stayed in one of the penthouse suites, and it was an absolute dream. I HIGHLY recommend booking through the hotel's website, as you'll get a lot of free perks that way. Free breakfast, free tequila, welcome cocktails, and a possible room upgrade if you booked one of the standard rooms. Our suite was lovely, but the best part is the private rooftop with your own pool.... It was the perfect place to wind down after a long day! There's also a pool in the center of the hotel, with a swim up bar. Their restaurant, Kocina, was fantastic. We went here almost every morning for breakfast and had a few dinners here as well. They will also bring your food to your room if you prefer, which was a great perk. The staff were incredible and helped us with everything we needed. We booked an excursion and our covid tests through the hotel, and they always kept great communication. The hotel used Whatsapp to text us, which I LOVED.... It was so easy to simply send a text rather than to call or walk down to the front desk. The location is nice, too. It is in a quiet area next to other boutique hotels and was a 30 minute walk to the main part of town. They also offered a free shuttle to take you to the beach.
