I really hope the in-person service is better than this, because the phone experience alone is enough to make me take my business elsewhere.

Walked in around 6pm last Monday and the customer service was exceptional. They greeted me right as I walked in, and had me in a chair in under 5 minutes. This was my first haircut in over a year, so it was no small task. Max was my barber. He gave me a fresh cut, was super detailed, did exactly what I asked, and when I asked him to change up something at the end, he was responsive and cool about it (my experience is most barbers are rude about this). Max and the other barbers were some chill and fun dudes. Not only did I leave with a fresh look, but I had a fun time while I was there. These guys are passionate about their profession, and they're the type of people that you don't mind paying for their work because it's so well-deserved (and a fair price!) I rarely feel that way because I'm poor lol. Wish I could give them 6 stars. I'll be a repeat customer for sure, and you should be too!!

Been here about 6 times or so and there are some good barbers here and I'm glad one of the barbers offered a free cut after I left but I cant come back to this place. Was cut by a new barber and asked for a burst fade with a 5 on top. I usually let barbers work their art and I was clearly wrong for doing so. I sat for almost 3 hours for this cut. 2 hours in the barber said he was done and I have a FAUX-HAWK! It was clearly not what I asked for so I tried to be cool with it since he said he'd cut it off and just fade the back. Instead I still got a triangle shape cut in the back and he C cupped one of my sideburns and messed up the other side leaving a flat line on the side and left a bald spot he accidentally cut next to the imperfection on my head (red mole). Kinda pissed there were so many barbers in there without a customer, watching as my hair got messed up. I would've been happy if they stepped in after I said I didn't ask for a faux-hawk instead like 2 barbers walked away to let him try to fix it after he was going at it for over 2 hours. If someone's still learning help them out before it ends up like this. Sorry if this comes off as rude, but I'm embarrassed that I'm going to wear this cut for at least 2 weeks.

Let me start by saying I have nothing against the owners of this barbershop Emmie and her husband…read morebut this by far was the WORST experience and treatment I've ever had at any business in my life! I've been getting my haircuts at His and Hairs Barbershop ever since the previous owner Frank sold it to them. My first experience was with their daughter. I asked for a mid fade on a number one hair cut and after she finished I noticed she gave me a high fade. When I had told her she responded, "I thought you said high fade." At the time I figured either she wasn't paying attention or was being dishonest. They just opened their shop so I shrugged it off. I went back the following month and got my haircut from their mom Emmie and she definitely knows how to cut hair so I've been getting my haircut from her ever since... Flash forward to today. I arrived at the barbershop it was around 11:30am and Emmie was there but had to leave for some reason. She said that their daughter could cut my hair. I was hesitant but I decided to give her another chance unfortunately this was a big mistake. I asked for my usual mid fade on a one and trim on top just to even it out. When she was finished I noticed the fade was patchy and uneven. I asked her if she could clean up the fade and even out my other side. The next thing I knew she began to cut higher and higher on my fade. She asked how I would like my sideburns and I said just line it up. She instead shaped my sideburns unevenly and didn't line up the bottom. Not only that she trimmed almost an inch of my top. When I explained to her I only asked you to clean the fade and asked, "Why did you keep cutting higher?" She responded that she was trying to do something? I didn't understand but I noticed my sideburns I became more upset. I told her about my first experience I had with her and how I had decided to give her a second chance. I said that this is not a mid fade and it was still patchy and she ruined my hair. That's when her brother Mr. Thug-Life decided to chime in. He began to argue with me and said that it was a mid fade. He called it a mid shadow fade? He used an aggressive tone and began to talk down to me and raise voice. I explained that their mother cuts my hair all the time and I ask for the same haircut and this was not a mid fade. It became a back and forth and somewhere in the argument he accused me of yelling at his sister. I replied, "I'm not yelling at your sister I'm yelling at you. I'm giving you the same energy that you're giving to me." That's when he threatened to, "Beat my ass b**ch." So I stood up out of the chair and confronted him and dared him to hit so he can catch an assault charge. He continued to berate me calling a b**ch calling me a p**sy. One of the other barbers was between us preventing him from attacking me. As I was leaving he kept on berating me even using gang slang blood this blood that. I asked what kind business is this?! I knew Mr. Thug-Life was no good because a couple months back during the mask mandate I was getting a haircut from his mom and he had some homies hanging out and one with his mask off and vaping. Your son is not fit to work in any professional environment and is a detriment to your barbershop. Your daughter needs additional training as well. I get this is a mom-and-pop shop so I don't expect any changes especially because this is your family. The amount of disrespect and threats has no justification. I will not be returning to your shop and hope others realize your sons gang thug-life mentality is a negative impact to your business.
