This shop is clean, the artists are wonderful and knowledgeable and very helpful. If this is your first tattoo, be realistic and don't ask for knuckles, hands, face or head (job stoppers). Tattoos take a few hours and whether the artist charges by the hour or by the piece, respect that the price is the price. Don't haggle, it's offensive to the artist. If you want a quality tattoo you can be proud of, then know it's about $100-$150 an hour, and don't forget to tip. If you don't have the time or the money, then don't get tattooed, and don't go to someone willing to do less. Tattoos are pretty permanent, don't get something you'll just have to cover up later. Style here is traditional and neo-traditional, and artists are genuinely some of the best in the city. Check them out.

I was greeted very professionally, and then was shown all the options available for my dermal piercing, which was fantastic! I didn't realize I would be given such a massive selection to choose from, which got me really giggity lol. It took me a few minutes, but I made my selection and then proceeded to wait in the lobby until I was called. It was there that I became more in awe- especially after seeing his pressed penny machine. I have literally never walked by a pressed penny machine without choosing to partake, so that was RAAAAD! Now, I don't want to think about my age hahaaa but it's been at least 20 years since my last piercing. Clay was VERY thorough in letting me know all the details about THIS type of piercing, which I didn't previously know. Apparently- dermals WILL eventually work their way out, which didn't make me change my mind- but can certainly sway others against it. He stressed that it was only a matter of time, but I am grateful for knowing this so I don't need to freak tf out when the time comes hahaaa. Tiff is the piercer here, she is so nice, welcoming, she's beyond great! She made the process fast and easy, which for me, a 15 year old then was great. At the end of the process I felt light headed and felt like throwing up. Right away Tiff told me to slowly lie down, she said since I got up too quick it made me feel like that. Tattoo artists also came in to check on me and gave me water. Their service is way, way beyond 5 stars! After a couple of months later, I got it my piercing infected. Bart, the owner called me over and was very easy to talk to. He made sure the area was clean and took the proper precautions before piercing my nose. After talking to Pete, I explained what I wanted and brought in some samples that he could size them up on my arm. I have to say, I couldn't be happier!!! I get tons of compliments and this tattoo signifies being a mother who lives with a chronic illness.
