When someone is looking to get a tattoo, you need to get one from a respectable establishment, a…read moreclean shop, from skilled artists. This shop is clean, the artists are wonderful and knowledgeable and very helpful. If this is your first tattoo, be realistic and don't ask for knuckles, hands, face or head (job stoppers). Tattoos take a few hours and whether the artist charges by the hour or by the piece, respect that the price is the price. Don't haggle, it's offensive to the artist. If you want a quality tattoo you can be proud of, then know it's about $100-$150 an hour, and don't forget to tip. If you don't have the time or the money, then don't get tattooed, and don't go to someone willing to do less. Tattoos are pretty permanent, don't get something you'll just have to cover up later. Style here is traditional and neo-traditional, and artists are genuinely some of the best in the city. Check them out.

They had decided to let the one who was not currently doing piercings to do one of mine and the entire time she was asking questions as if she didn't know how to do ANYTHING. When she pierced the one she went WAY too far back and into the actual tissue of my boob rather than the nipple. Since then, it has gotten infected numerous times despite cleaning regularly and using unscented soaps. For at least a month after it would bleed nonstop and puss everyday, and still continues to. The other piercing has healed with no complications whatsoever and hasn't hurt since early February. I have previously gotten my septum done here and had no issues at all. The girl who did my left nipple piercing had to have been training. I would have rather gone through the pain twice and got them done one at a time than let her pierce it incorrectly.

I was directed to the website where it was easy to arrange an appointment, and that appointment happened to be with the owner of the establishment. Once I got there for my appointment, I was in awe of the interior decor as well, which was really nicely decorated and had a very cool indoor plant garden, of sorts. I was greeted very professionally, and then was shown all the options available for my dermal piercing, which was fantastic! I didn't realize I would be given such a massive selection to choose from, which got me really giggity lol. It took me a few minutes, but I made my selection and then proceeded to wait in the lobby until I was called. It was there that I became more in awe- especially after seeing his pressed penny machine. I have literally never walked by a pressed penny machine without choosing to partake, so that was RAAAAD! Now, I don't want to think about my age hahaaa but it's been at least 20 years since my last piercing. Clay was VERY thorough in letting me know all the details about THIS type of piercing, which I didn't previously know. Apparently- dermals WILL eventually work their way out, which didn't make me change my mind- but can certainly sway others against it. He stressed that it was only a matter of time, but I am grateful for knowing this so I don't need to freak tf out when the time comes hahaaa. My husband and I got a tattoo from here. The guy that used to own the store passed away last year…read moreand I have always heard good things about him. The girl that took over for him is terrible in my opinion. She didn't do very well on my tattoo at all...my line work sucks. She charges by the hour and it took her like 3 and a half hours to do 2 small tattoos. She missed her first appointment with us then had to turn us away again. After all was said and done i didn't get home til 5am!! It was $280 for 2 small tattoos that we both weren't very impressed with. Not impressed with this lady at all and probably won't ever go back.
