My husband and I have now been meditating daily for about three months and it's made a significant difference in how we experience life, and we can't believe we waited so long to explore and practice it. We are calmer, more cheerful, energized and more clear headed, creative and have a general sense of well being we've not previously enjoyed. I had a great massage and the yoga instructor is awesome. The clinical director is caring, has a true understanding of addiction and focuses on the positives as all of the patients come in feeling pretty bad about themselves. The staff is very caring and loving and really want the patients to get well. They are always there to talk to you if you are feeling distressed, discouraged, or just feeling physically sick from going through withdrawal. Nursing is wonderful and helpful and the weekday doctor as well as the weekend doctor are very caring and very competent. I highly recommend Mandala Healing Center for detox in South Florida. This facility is a very poor choice for anyone interested in rehabilitation services that includes anyone else outside of their own facility. One therapist, Francisco, called to "ask some background questions" and was completely inappropriately riate. The other, Brittany, made plans and provided expectations to my loved one's support system and repeatedly failed to meet her own plans, all whilst sounding very sweet and well mannered though. I'm sure it's a great facility for someone with no loved ones or anything. Myself? I'm waiting for my loved one to finally get out so I can at least SPEAK to him.
