But Jeremy's kindness and patience and dedication to his craft is what made me need to review. Given the Delta variant surge, and the ability for vaccinated people to be carriers...I'm not in the best position to participate given my baby niece's immunocompromised status (who, as an infant, isn't vaccinated), and Jeremy worked with me to find a solution that helps me make sure my niece is safe and looked after, but making sure I knew the door stayed open for my own training. God bless TDT and their staff, and their members who go out of their way to motivate and encourage. It is attached to a doctor's office, so fortunately if you go a little too hard, then you'll be in a good place. The facility is well maintained and clean. The only real negative, for me at least, is that there aren't overhead fans, so there's low air circulation during a hot run. Overall I enjoy dropping in to burn off some calories.

That search led me to Ryan Hoover and Fit to Fight--and it exceeded every expectation. This isn't just a 5-star review; it is an open letter of appreciation. Here is what sets them apart: World-Class Leadership: Ryan, Amber, and Riley Hoover are incredible, highly accessible coaches who frequently teach classes themselves. Elite, Consistent Coaching: Every single coach and Black Belt is exceptional. There is no such thing as a bad class here. Complete Combat Curriculum: They train you for reality--covering everything from de-escalation and kickboxing to grappling, street-scenario jiu-jitsu, and weapons defense. Evolving & Relevant: The curriculum updates constantly to address ever-changing, real-world threats. Inclusive Community: You will train alongside everyone from teenagers to impressive 70-year-olds in an environment where everyone knows your name. Genuine Care: They truly care about your safety, growth, and well-being.Though I recently had to relocate back to the West Coast, Fit to Fight remains the gold standard. I fully plan to return for their intensive workshops. To Ryan and the entire coaching staff: keep doing what you do. It matters.

The first 15 mins of "warm up" is probably the toughest work out then it is on to learning basic skills. It's such a great work out and the training is great for self defense. Someone had picked them either by accident or maliciously. I looked everywhere to no avail. Some staff even helped me look. Again, nothing. They said an announcement was made but I'm not sure how much of it I believe. When I brought up the idea that someone may have done it on purpose, the lady got offended. I thought that my eyeglasses would be safe. I usually take them with me but my eyes were burning so much that I left them. I went back again and no one admitted to taking them. From that time onward, my trust was broken. I haven't been back since.
