It's weird stuff that goes on that makes me not want to go there one morning I went there and here…read morecomes the black guy that works in the desk I'm in the sauna or the hot tub if you will oh he's got to check the temperature of the sauna okay so I'll wait a while went out of town came back here he comes again your car is hanging out in the lane I don't want to get hit I'm in the handicap parking I looked at my car before I went into the building now let me give you the backstory when I was sitting in my car I was smoking a cigarette I do what I want to I'm 62 years old I bought my Lexus I paid for my cigarettes and my membership is paid for so I don't go there to be bothered by people if he needs to check the hot tub temperature it will be greatly appreciated if when he sees me come in and I go change then he can go check the temperature before I go to the hot tub error I don't like that so I got off track but this lady well she's not a lady she's a troublemaker that she's the one who told him I was parked crazy he comes back and says oh you're okay now I don't I don't know what that is about but it's unsettling and whoever that woman is they need to get her together she's a troublemaker at that gym with people and he said they just ignore her well that's why she continues to act out she better be glad I didn't see her before I left because I had some Choice words for her they charge a lot for their memberships and then something or another is always broken they need to concentrate on that I don't go over there for foolishness I go there to get the pain out of my body and I don't want negative interactions with people when I'm in pain I don't want negative interactions with people anyway now whoever cleans the showers or is in charge of that they need to be checked because twice I've found blood in the shower area I guess somebody is shaving or I don't know if they're on their Menses but it's Biohazard when I called and reported they say that they'll take care of it cuz I've seen Blood on the shower curtain as well they could do a better job and keeping stuff up to par and working condition for people that go there

There's a "grass" area with rope & I think kettlebells, a calisthenics type room with bars/TRX/weighted balls/etc. Pool, saunas, quality tanning beds (and standup), upstairs & downstairs stretching/yoga areas, a separate cardio room with a big movie screen, a cycling/spin room, 2 big rooms with mirrors, big locker rooms. The main cardio area is upstairs - treadmills, elliptical, rowers, 4 stairmasters, stair steppers, & I think I saw a Jacobs ladder. The cardio area is great because it's spread out & you don't feel like people are watching you or on top of you. As most gyms, it's primarily men, except here nobody talks to you or bothers you or stares.

It is attached to a doctor's office, so fortunately if you go a little too hard, then you'll be in a good place. The facility is well maintained and clean. The staff is very nice and inviting, and the patrons are usually in a somewhat good mood. The only real negative, for me at least, is that there aren't overhead fans, so there's low air circulation during a hot run. Overall I enjoy dropping in to burn off some calories.

They are consistently friendly, attentive, and quick to help -- they genuinely seem to care about the member experience. I have been a member since the business was Golds's Gym, then Mov Fitness. I assumed that the…read morechange to One Life Fitness would basically be another name change. Most of the changes that were announced have been completed and actually has transformed the gym from an average gym to a top tier facility. It seems like they have doubled the size of the facility just by adding tons of new machines, opening up the existing spaces, and organizing the area for maximum effiiciency. However, the continuing friendliness of the original Mov staff, plus the addition of many hard working people are what make it feel like a family gym. While I, most times, just accept how things are, I have always mentioned improvements that would contribute to my postive experience when I notice. The difference now (I assume due to Vicktoria's strong work ethic), is that when I mention something as One Life, the changes occur within days. And, I guess based on having people with foresight for customers, most things have improved before I even get concerned. While I miss my original trainer (Lindsay), my new trainer (Nick) and all the others seem to enjoy helping us reach our goals. Nick's field of study has been great for me trying to adapt to the issues with aging and how to address those in the proper training and correct preparation (for me the stretch sessions allow me to continue to workout while hip and back changes can slow progress). Finally, being greeted by Katherine, Victoria, and/or Christine (or whomever is at the front desk) each visit, just makes it feel like a family type gym vs a corporate chain. They help me start out my work out with a smile. To close, I'll give a little more praise. "Hardest working" goes to Victoria, and cleaning guy (sorry haveln't learned his name yet). They are never in one place for long. Always cheerful and make you feel that way goes to Katherine and Nenna. How can anyone be that cheerful all the time? While those are ones I call out as champions, I have had great experiences with most all the staff, and thats what makes the gym stand out. PS. Onelife does not see members - all they see is dollar signs which completly disrespects every dollar sign in there. Been a loyal member to that location for years - since onelife took over things have not been for the better. Staff needs to listen to their members and not disregard them! Grow the facility not the crowds.

Horrible gym. People just sit on machines doing nothing while text messaging, looking at YouTube…read morevideos, or browsing Facebook. I have complained to staff several times with no resolution. Tried to use the leg curl machine last night for 45 minutes while the guy using the machine worked out his Facebook scrolling finger muscle. This is a daily experience at this location and personally, someone needs to address this issue. Cell phones should not be allowed in the work out area, PERIOD. If you want to waste your time fine, but don't waste mine.
