With every design, she's provided her feedback with design modifications if necessary - I think this is nice because I can be indecisive & also want to let her as an artist have free creative reign. I was so happy when I discovered this place! I've received two services here, pedicure and makeup. My nail service with Sophia is great! She's attentive and always kind. I'm a serial French tip girlie and she nails it every time! She's converted me to a gel pedicure and now I will never go back to regular polish on my toes. They consistently last 4+ weeks. I received a makeup and hair trial by Kala last fall for my wedding and we hit it off right away. Kala asked for the look I was going for and she hit it right on the mark (bright eyes and all the blush!). For something I was the most nervous about for my wedding day, I left feeling confident that she was the person for the job. The day of the wedding in March, we reviewed the trial photos and made some slight adjustments for the hair. My makeup and hair were complete by 1 pm my wedding day and lasted until the end of the night! Makeup AND hair! Overall, I highly recommend this place. Self Care Sundae in Walnut has been a great spot for me to rent as a Makeup Artist to take my clients. Connie, the studio owner, has always been so amazing to work with! You can tell she genuinely cares about artists, the beauty industry, and a client's experience. To find a studio owner like that is beyond rare for me. I highly recommend this place for other artists (hair + makeup) to do a day/hourly rental that she offers. My clients that I've taken here have also spoken positively about how neat this place is and eventually end up booking for themselves with one of the techs for nails/facial/lashes. There's a large parking lot, so there is no stress in trying to help your clients find parking. Connie is amazing at her craft. She is up to date about the newest and latest education regarding eyelash extensions. I have gone to other 5 star locations and my lashes have fallen out quickly due cooking or excessive heat. Not ONCE have my lashes been affected by my cooking regiment. I have NEVER had an allergic reaction to the glue. Connie's expertise is the key to my lash success. The location is always clean, sanitized, pleasant aroma, and has a fresh vibe.
