Shauna made it very easy and so helpful. Would not hesitate to recommend her for sound or ear plugs!

Do not go to this office if you are seeking basic care for an ear infection or similar. They will…read morerequire you to take audible tests for hearing, they do not disclose that requirement, force you to do it otherwise you can't see the doctor, and then charge you for it. I reached out to Ear Associates in May of 2026 to see a doctor for an ear infection. I booked my appointment for 5/29/26. Upon arriving to the doctor's office I was escorted into a room and a provider started running audible testing on me. I asked the provider to stop and expressed concern as i was coming in for an ear infection and thought I was to see a doctor. The provider said I was not allowed to see the doctor until they finished this audible tests. Upon booking of this appointment, no one disclosed anything in regards to a requirement for audible tests. Since i was in dire need to see a doctor, I begrudgingly proceeded. The audible testing lasted for 20-30 minutes. Then i finally got to see a doctor for my ear infection. Even the doctor expressed confusion as to why i was subjected to hearing tests just for an ear infection. The doctor's office agreed to waive the doctor's visit fees, however, I asked to be charged for the doctor's visit and to credit for the audible testing that was not disclosed and forced upon me. The office refused. Additionally, Jacqui Garcia whom was the last person i spoke to at this facility was extremely rude and unhelpful with any further path forward to resolving this issue. Extremely shady. They should be upfront about requiring these hearing tests ahead of seeing a doctor instead of forcing them upon you and refusing to credit it from the bill.

Do not go here. Very deceptive business practices. I came here for hearing aids, a hearing test…read moreand tinnitus treatment. Before I made the appointment I verified on my insurance portal that they were fully in network for hearing tests and hearing aids. When I called to make the appointment, I asked them to confirm that they were fully in network. After providing them with my insurance information they told me that they were in network, but that I would have to go to their other office in San Jose, where they accepted my Medicare advantage plan. I made the appointment and needed to wait nearly 3 months. When I arrived for my appointment, prior to seeing the audiologist, I asked them to reconfirm that they were in network and that I would be getting $2000 benefit towards the purchase of hearing aids, which is the specified benefit as reported on my insurance website. At this time they were hesitant to confirm, saying that the person who could confirm was busy. They suggested I proceed with the hearing test and then meet with the other person to discuss hearing aids. I was reluctant, but they were instant that everything would be ok. Following my test, I was ushered into an office to meet with the hearing aid fitter. And, was told that I was not in network for hearing aids and that they offered no benefit. That pissed me off. They ended up still charging me $50 for the hearing test, which was supposed to be free, per my benefits. Total BS.
