A beautiful summer Sunday afternoon (8/2) and we discovered this hidden gem. A friend told us…read moreabout it and we decided to come see for ourselves. Reservations will get you valet parking, a table and chairs and access to various food trucks, live music...And of course WINE!! What started in a small shack in a small vineyard by Barry in 1984, has graduated to this beautiful family run place. Now owned by his granddaughter and her partner, I'm sure he would be proud! The shack still stands and Stephen behind the counter, was super friendly and happy to tell me the story when I asked about the gentleman in the picture. We had flights and purchased two bottles. One to drink there and another to take home! You're allowed to bring your own food (no alcohol) if you wish. We devoured our sandwiches from home and enjoyed the live music duo. What a wonderful, wonderful laid back vibe! Folks' just enjoying the weather, their families and friends. If you have fur babies, they too are welcomed! We absolutely loved it here! We are already making plans to visit again during our upcoming staycation. Family fun, romantic date or just hanging with your besties.... Barry's legacy lives on. Thank me later....

One of the highlights of our visit was sitting in the Adirondack chairs right outside the grapevines; it made for such a relaxing and unique experience. The wine flight was excellent, and we really enjoyed the wines we tasted. The gentleman working during our visit (I wish I had gotten his name) was incredibly friendly and very knowledgeable. He took the time to answer our questions and made us feel welcome. I also loved learning that they hand-print all of their wine labels and apply them to the bottles themselves. It's those personal touches that really make this place special. The valet parking was also very well organized. When you're ready to leave, you simply click the link that's sent to your phone, and they bring your car around, so you're not waiting forever. There were food trucks on-site, but you can also bring your own food. It's dog-friendly too, which is a nice bonus for pet owners. Who doesn't love dogs?! Overall, we had a wonderful visit and would definitely recommend stopping by if you're looking for a charming, family-run vineyard with a peaceful atmosphere and great wine.

I agree with all of the reviews, we were told that the parking lot was full and we arrived 30…read moreminutes early!! I asked how could the lot be full and was told it was the VENDORS VEHICLES...hello??? You want people to spend money on your wares? Then YOU park down the road !!! My Mom is 82 she can't walk that far! Overcrowded, overpriced, hardly any chocolate items , and $11 for a ticket?? Crazy, never again.

Terrible. Very false advertising for this event. First off, it was half the size of a school…read moregymnasium and most of the vendors had NOTHING to do with chocolate. Verizon fios, Jewelry/scarves, hot sauce, etc? Really? What about that is chocolate? Many booths didn't even have samples. There was no gourmet anything. I could buy better sweets at the local grocery store or make them from a box myself. Nothing about this was "Festival", let alone about chocolate. Very disappointed. Waste of time and money. Good luck with parking too as there is none at the complex. You have to park on side streets or local marts. The complex inside was also jam packed with people to the point you could barely move (And we got there only abut 5-15 min after opening time!) This should NOT have required paid admission, at all. What on earth did I even pay for? There was nothing there that would even remotely need "admission" costs to cover. Wasn't even worth half the price of the ticket. Very sad. They insist you buy in advance online which ended up costing more than at the door the day of the event. I even got an email saying the festival was sold out a few days prior yet you could still buy the tickets and they still sold tickets at the door that day. I feel completely scammed. Added note: Just an FYI this was hosted by DBE Expos & Events (DBE Events, LLC). Needless to say I will not be attending ANY of their other events OR expos in the future.
