Terrible customer service. No wonder they only have 2 stats on here. I bought something & I didn't realize that it had a good size sticker on it. So once I paid for it ...still standing at the cash register, I tried to pill the sticker off and it was all super sticky underneath ...the employee lept arguing with me, trying to tell me it will rub off in time. I don't wanna feel sticky stuff on my hands every time I pick it up until it ventually rubs off. I asked for a refund and he instantly started being super rude . so made a purchase 1/25/25. for zyn. and something was off about them I purchased from a gas station that had the ones I like in stock, pouches are completely differen! not mention the font and everything about the ones purchased from this store. I went to check the rewards on the back. and guess what error. I went back to check with them. To let them know something was off with them. I would habe taken store credit... over $12.00. i was told after they made a phone call and they werent going to help. terrible service.. I recommend verifying products purchased from this place. Never expected to make a purchase to receive fake products who knows what is actually inside those pouches. Never shopping there again. I don't normally leave reviews, but after the horrendous treatment I experienced, I felt compelled to write something up. I have been coming to this smoke shop for almost a year as I live a block over and frequently stop on my way home from work. I have spent a lot of money there over this time and have never really had any issues as far as service until today 06/24/24 at 5:30pm. The staff has never been exactly friendly but thought I was a friendly and low key customer regardless- I just buy my stuff and leave due to the convenience of location. I walked in the door and was not greeted but demanded by the man working to leave the store immediately and he was refusing to provide me service. I thought this was super out of character for this place and asked why maybe they had mixed something up, he responded with "Because I feel like it, get out." He was very aggressive and unreasonable and started to approach me in a very angry manner for no reason and forced me out of the store. I didn't argue back- I was just very confused. I was not happy with my experience today when I went into the store, I walk in and as soon as I open the door and step inside a man that was around 6'2-6'3 stared at me and blew in my face.... I gave him a dirty look and proceeded to walk to the counter and asked if that man worked here, dude didn't respond to my question and a couple seconds later asked if I wanted anything. My boyfriend and I frequent this shop at least once a week, sometimes more. We have never had any issues with the customer service there until today. My boyfriend came in earlier this afternoon and was instantly told to leave and step out by the guy working there. He saw this happen to another gentleman just before he went in. I needed to come in to the shop today as well so my boyfriend and I tried to go in again this evening. As soon as we walked in, the same guy told us he had the right to refuse us service. I asked if he could provide a reason and he just repeated the same thing. Frustrated, we searched for and went to another smoke shop. Several other people had come to this shop before us because they were refused service. As it turns out, the WHITE employees that worked there were fired, and all WHITE customers are being refused service. I am against racism in any form, and if you don't promote racism either, stop coming to Select Smoke Shop. Let's get it closed down so a new owner who accepts ALL business can take over!
