I had 2 insurances and they called to confirm I was double covered, but they wanted me to pay as if I had only one insurance company $35 a visit. It's like the lady didn't get it when I told her I'm double covered and the other portion would be paid for. I eventually had to call 3 way with her to the secondary ins to have them explain it to her. She then still refused to waive my copay and still have me pay $35 a visit. Until both were paid, then they tried to offer me a credit and I usually don't go there, so finally they agree to a cash refund. 6 months later I only get half of my money back. It's now riding up on a year and still no refund. I guess I should report them to the BBB. The sad part is the insurance company was processing it late because they billed incorrectly (AC) 3 months ago and I still have not heard a thing. Do not trust this billing department, call your insurance and ensure the right price. If you have a secondary insurance, you're probably going to have the same problem I did. This is theft. It's funny how she calls and is diligent to get my money, and refused service until I paid my copay, but now that they owe me, all I get is crickets. This may will be 1 year. The nurse practitioner, Sherry, was very sweet and informative! She really seemed to know about ear infections and cared about my pains! She prescribed me medicine for pickup at my local pharmacy and she encouraged over the counter medicines I could also take! I appreciate the attentiveness she had.
