The lousy organization of billing has caused me so much stress. I had physical therapy here in…read more2016. I have very good insurance. The insurance paid 100% on all claims. Here's the problem though...Granbury's billing department did not file some of the claims according to the timely manner of within one year of the service they provided. I assumed I had the matter resolved in 2018. My insurance company had wrote a letter to the billing department which explains that some of the claims were not submitted in a timely manner. The letter also explained that the insured member (me) was not responsible for the charged amount. All through the year of 2019 I had not received any more collection agency's threatening letters. Here it is 2020 and I received a collection agency letter this last month of February. I'm again making calls to insurance to gain their help in working with Granbury Hospital to again explain benefits and that claims must be sent in within the timely manner of one year from the date of service that was provided. I'm getting so very agitated with Granbury Hospital. In calling the billing department I was griped and blessed out for as the woman (supervisor of billing) said I did not have insurance. The blame gets put on me. It is a false statement I explained. I have always had insurance on my family for going on 50 years. This is such an aggravation. The corporate billing office is in Tennessee. I'm in Texas. If it were closer I would drive there and have my say in person. All I can do is continue calling to my insurance and call the collection agency and give a call to Corporate Billing for Granbury Hospital in Tennessee. Oh and I was told my the billing department in Granbury that if I didn't pay this huge amount which is close to $4000 I could never be admitted to Granbury Hospital. My response....I would never want to be admitted there, thank you! Also I was told that my insurance didn't have my correct address. I have lived at the same address for the last 30 years. It is always a blame game...I get blamed for obviously someone's mistake whoever it was that was responsible in filing the claims in the first place. I'm the insured I wasn't responsible to send the claim to my insurance. Another story I was told by Granbury Hospital was I went to their physical therapy and it was out of network of my insurance. Again a false statement. My insurance did pay them on a portion of the claims that were submitted in the timely manner. They would not have been given any money on a claim if it had been out of network. I'm ready for this harassment to end. Instead this battle lingers on now for going into the 4th year since I had the 4 week session of physical therapy in 2016.

This nursing staff is one of the happiest, most helpful staff I've seen in a long time.. The care they give is phenomenal. The building is always clean with no bad odors, which is sometimes hard to find in a nursing facility. I would absolutely recommend this facility.

She was busy and said that he could soil himself and she would change him. Every time he needed assistance when she was on duty, she never answered the call light. Sent employees looking for her and they could not locate her. I had to assist him myself. My husband has always handled business himself, but after 3 days here, they put him in diapers. Nursing is so-so. My husband had a bandage put on his arm so tight that when I came in the next day, it swollen to twice it's normal size. Speaking with administration over any issues, they gaslight you and make it sound as if it is you, not them. The business admin acts like he has a medical degree and doesn't even have all of his facts straight. He gets about 10 minutes of rehab a few times a week and only once a day. The food sucks (I tasted it). Even a lady down the hall was yelling for help. She called me into her room when I walked by and asked me to help get her out of that place.
