We explicitly told them multiple times that we are on a high-deductible plan, meaning every cent comes out of our pocket until the deductible is met. Our plan has zero copay. We have coinsurance, but that doesn't kick in until much later. Since this was our first time using insurance for physical therapy, we made the mistake of trusting their "expertise." They charged us $150 for the initial session and $90 for each subsequent visit, labeling them as "COPAYS" and explicitly promising that this was all we would have to pay. Total lies. We checked our insurance portal today and found out that on top of the money they already took, they billed our insurance $278 for the first session and $177 for every session after. The Math of Their Deception: What they promised: $150 + (4 × $90) = $510 The actual bill: ($278 + $150) + 4 × ($90 + $177) = $1,496 They are absolute crooks who intentionally confuse clients with false information just to fill their schedule. They trap you into booking sessions under false pretenses and leave you to drown in the insurance mess they created. Avoid this place at all costs unless you enjoy being scammed.

I cracked the booklet open but didn't get very far before concluding it was hopeless. I was somewhat familiar with the practice as I'd used it years before. So, I decided to go out of pocket because I thought it was my only hope of really getting better. Upon entering ESPT, I found the care exceptional. I would have an entire session focused on pain management. You can't put that in a booklet! I did indeed improve. Not only did I go once, but I went back again after knee meniscus surgery. Again, the experience was exceptional, and I was almost sorry to graduate! The practice is also very well run. Cherise at the front desk keeps all the appointments in order, and the communication is excellent. I strongly endorse this practice.

My range of motion was very limited and honestly affecting my daily life. After about 10 sessions, I've seen a big improvement. I've regained most of my mobility, with only a bit of difficulty remaining when reaching my upper back. That kind of progress feels huge. Vidhi played a big role in my recovery--she's truly one of the best there. She clearly knows her craft and helped me steadily increase my range of motion with the right balance of challenge and care. I also want to highlight Lilian at the front desk. She genuinely cares about patients. At one point, I tried to adjust my schedule so I could always be seen by Vidhi--even if it meant skipping a month. Lilian advised me to check with Vidhi first. I went ahead anyway, but she took the initiative to inform Vidhi, who then explained that skipping a month would actually slow my progress. That level of attentiveness and teamwork really stood out.
