For more than two years, I suffered from severe pain caused by multiple lumbar disc herniations compressing the nerves leading into my legs, especially the sciatic nerve. The pain significantly affected my mobility, daily activities, and overall quality of life. On May 21, 2026, I underwent a Facet Joint stabilization procedure at L4-L5 using the ION 3D Facet Screw System. While I am still in the recovery process, I already feel hopeful about the future and grateful for the opportunity to regain my mobility and return to the activities I enjoy. I would like to especially recognize Christine, Tim, Chatera, Melinda, Brooklin, Charys, Tonya, and Llani. Their professionalism, compassion, kindness, and attention to detail were truly exceptional. From the moment I arrived until I left, they made me feel comfortable, respected, and genuinely cared for. Dr. Hassan and his entire team exemplify what patient-centered care should be. Their expertise, communication, and dedication to their patients are outstanding. Thank you all for the excellent care you provided during one of the most challenging periods of my life. I highly recommend Florida Medical Pain Management to anyone seeking advanced pain management and spine care. You will be treated by a team that truly cares about its patients and strives for the best possible outcomes. 5 Stars would be a very appropriate rating for this review.

My friend had experience miraculous results with Dr. Brett who had treated him for a back condition and a shoulder condition. I told my friend that there was no use. I had been treated by physical therapists and chiropractors and orthopedic doctors and pain specialists for 30 years, with no results. I did not believe that Dr. Brett could help me, but I went to see him just so my friend would quit bugging me. Sure enough, when I went to see Dr. Brett, we couldn't do much in terms of therapy because my back pain was so bad, and almost any kind of movement would cause my back to spasm. Advanced Medical of Florida is a multi-specialty clinic. Dr. Brett sent me to Dr. Miguel Attias, MD, Anesthesiologist, and Interventional Pain Specialist. I had been given injections before, in the spine, between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae, with no improvement. Dr. Attias told me that he though I had been mis-diagnosed and gave me an injection in a different location, close to my hip bone. Within hours of the procedure, I felt like the back pain was completely gone, and I felt like a new woman. I haven't had a pain pill since the procedure. It is a miracle. Now I am looking forward to physical therapy to strengthen my back from years of inactivity. Next week, I am going to apply for a job. (I love working, but haven't been able to work for 30 years). Why did I get a better result from the doctors at Advanced Medical of Florida? Because they care more and they listen better.

Choosing a rehab center was tough, especially since his surgery was out of state. After doing my research on several local places, I can honestly say picking St. Pete Physical Therapy was the best choice for my son's recovery. From day one, Stacy at the front desk was super helpful and made everything run smoothly. She communicated with the out-of-state office and kept everything organized. One of the big things that set St. Pete apart is that they have a team of Doctors of Physical Therapy (DPTs), not just regular therapists. That extra level of expertise made a huge difference in my son's recovery as recommended it would. I'm really happy with the care we got and would definitely recommend St. Pete Physical Therapy to anyone in need.
