My friend had experience miraculous results with Dr. Brett who had treated him for a back condition and a shoulder condition. I told my friend that there was no use. I had been treated by physical therapists and chiropractors and orthopedic doctors and pain specialists for 30 years, with no results. I did not believe that Dr. Brett could help me, but I went to see him just so my friend would quit bugging me. Sure enough, when I went to see Dr. Brett, we couldn't do much in terms of therapy because my back pain was so bad, and almost any kind of movement would cause my back to spasm. Advanced Medical of Florida is a multi-specialty clinic. Dr. Brett sent me to Dr. Miguel Attias, MD, Anesthesiologist, and Interventional Pain Specialist. I had been given injections before, in the spine, between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae, with no improvement. Dr. Attias told me that he though I had been mis-diagnosed and gave me an injection in a different location, close to my hip bone. Within hours of the procedure, I felt like the back pain was completely gone, and I felt like a new woman. I haven't had a pain pill since the procedure. It is a miracle. Now I am looking forward to physical therapy to strengthen my back from years of inactivity. Next week, I am going to apply for a job. (I love working, but haven't been able to work for 30 years). Why did I get a better result from the doctors at Advanced Medical of Florida? Because they care more and they listen better.

I'm a retired clinician with over 30 years of experience. I can't speak to the therapists here but;…read moreI can speak to a practice that I believe to be engaging in unethical behavior. Within their preliminary paperwork, is a paragraph stating that they do not verify insurance. Now, my secondary insurer's website does show this facility as a provider. Of course, as is always the case, they advise verifying with the provider. The reason is simple. The provider knows, or should know, wether or not their contract is current. So here's the rub. If they aren't currently in the network, the patient is stuck with the balance that Medicare doesn't cover. As I have stated, I have over 30 years of experience as a clinician and have dealt with insurance as a provider and as a patient. I have never, in the entirety of my career, seen a provider with such a clause. CAVEAT EMPTOR, let the buyer beware. We place our trust in clinicians and don't expect them to place us "on the hook" for their lack of due diligence.

I highly recommend Palm Harbor Chiropractic! I have been going to Dr. Gallagher for many years now…read more He is very kind, extremely gentle, very knowledgeable and has several ways of treating neck and back pain. The office staff are always there to help and are always very nice and accommodating. When I first presented to Palm Harbor Chiropractic, I was having terrible neck and back pain after a car accident that happened years before. After a thorough consultation and then examination, I was sent to get an MRI. I was told that I had degenerative arthritis that looked to be bad enough to require surgery in my neck. Not being happy with that diagnosis, I chose to give manipulation a try first. I opted for the seated activator method that was immediately followed by iced TENS treatment and was given instructions on how to ice my neck myself at home. After several months of extensive treatment, I am very happy to say that for the past several years I have been maintaining a happy spine with once a month or as needed treatments. There is never any pressure to do more treatments than I feel necessary to maintain a healthy spine and I really appreciate that fact as I have been pressured by other doctors in the past.
