My friend had experience miraculous results with Dr. Brett who had treated him for a back condition and a shoulder condition. I told my friend that there was no use. I had been treated by physical therapists and chiropractors and orthopedic doctors and pain specialists for 30 years, with no results. I did not believe that Dr. Brett could help me, but I went to see him just so my friend would quit bugging me. Sure enough, when I went to see Dr. Brett, we couldn't do much in terms of therapy because my back pain was so bad, and almost any kind of movement would cause my back to spasm. Advanced Medical of Florida is a multi-specialty clinic. Dr. Brett sent me to Dr. Miguel Attias, MD, Anesthesiologist, and Interventional Pain Specialist. I had been given injections before, in the spine, between the 3rd and 4th vertebrae, with no improvement. Dr. Attias told me that he though I had been mis-diagnosed and gave me an injection in a different location, close to my hip bone. Within hours of the procedure, I felt like the back pain was completely gone, and I felt like a new woman. I haven't had a pain pill since the procedure. It is a miracle. His "treatment plan" felt rushed, based on snap judgment, and ignored key findings; his ego seemingly given more weight than thorough clinical review.
