He quoted the project as a 6 week time frame starting mid February 2024- it is now almost August 1st and we still have an unfinished bathroom. He cemented over the vent in the bathroom - which makes the bathroom out of code and not eligible for resale and with it not being addressed in a timely manner this leads to other issues- such as a vent heating and cooling over fresh poured concrete causing other unforeseen consequences. (Ie cracked concrete, foundation issues, ect..) We were hoping he would do the right thing and make us a priority and focus on fixing this asap however the experience has been the opposite. Including no call - no shows and unpaid invoices to the hvac company who uncovered the issue. We even provided him a positive referral in good faith for a bathroom remodel which ultimately led to him winning the bid. However he keeps telling us that he has not had any receivables since the issue and that he is still waiting and needs more time Week after week it has been this story. There are also several other action items he needs to address and fix and has not. Such as the door trim, paint, dry wall. Things that could have been completed before addressing the vent issue. His team also painted over wallpaper and he told us after the fact. He also asked for more monies outside of the contract. Unfortunately, we are going to have to go the legal route as this is a code violation issue and he is not taking us seriously.

They have gone above and beyond our expectations in taking care of everything! The Superintendent, Jared, did an excellent job in making sure our home was move in ready. After moving in, they schedule a date between 2 to 3 months where they do a walk through with you. During this time you may let them know if you have any issues that need to be addressed. I made a long list of the things that needed to be touched up in our new home, and they took care of every single thing! Their phenomenal Warranty Manager, Zach Wiser, had the right people come in to take care of each job. Regarding our entire home outdoor requests to every indoor touch up, I can't even begin to describe all the attention to detail they have taken in making sure we are more than happy with the quality of our home! She went out of her way to show us the entire neighborhood including a walk through of many homes so we can get a better idea of what we were looking for. We ended up purchasing a beautiful lot with an amazing view of a lake which would be just behind our back yard! Shortly after our purchase we went to the Simmons Design Center in Owasso. Lori Potts went above and beyond in helping us design our new home. I told her how grateful we were for her expert advice and giving us such exceptional ideas and so many options to choose from. Lori made us feel at ease by being so kind and super patient! Especially because I was having a challenging time making a decision on some of the options for color schemes etc. We are almost done with our final submission, and I wanted to commend Lori on giving us the most wonderful and exciting experience in designing our new home! We ended up choosing a different lot for our home in Owasso. After meeting with Brian Rose the Sales Executive of Quailbrook Estates he informed us of all the home plans available exclusively for this neighborhood and he took the time to go through them all with us! We found a larger lot that we absolutely loved and he made us feel at ease when it came to changing the location of our new home. Brian even made it possible for us to do a walk through of a neighbors home so we can get an idea what our new home will look like! Angela wished us well and Lori welcomed the change of plans with open arms! Talk about phenomenal service! Thank you Angela, Lori, and Brian of Simmons Homes for the best home buying experience ever! Jordan made sure everything was what I was wanting as they progressed. The plants he picked out looked great and all good size.
