Unfortunately I have to update this review (until circumstances change however I am not holding my…read morebreath,) Tony started out as a trusted ally - we recently purchased a 2nd home as an investment and hired him to redo the bathroom and kitchen. He quoted the project as a 6 week time frame starting mid February 2024- it is now almost August 1st and we still have an unfinished bathroom. He cemented over the vent in the bathroom - which makes the bathroom out of code and not eligible for resale and with it not being addressed in a timely manner this leads to other issues- such as a vent heating and cooling over fresh poured concrete causing other unforeseen consequences. (Ie cracked concrete, foundation issues, ect..) We were hoping he would do the right thing and make us a priority and focus on fixing this asap however the experience has been the opposite. Including no call - no shows and unpaid invoices to the hvac company who uncovered the issue. We even provided him a positive referral in good faith for a bathroom remodel which ultimately led to him winning the bid. However he keeps telling us that he has not had any receivables since the issue and that he is still waiting and needs more time Week after week it has been this story. There are also several other action items he needs to address and fix and has not. Such as the door trim, paint, dry wall. Things that could have been completed before addressing the vent issue. His team also painted over wallpaper and he told us after the fact. He also asked for more monies outside of the contract. Unfortunately, we are going to have to go the legal route as this is a code violation issue and he is not taking us seriously.

2024 Project: Dean Master Bath and Master Closet demolition and remodel…read more Having worked a 40-year career in Oil and Gas processing I have a lot of experience in project management, planning, and construction execution. Ed Kaplan and Buckingham Group are the best I personally have ever experienced. Ed and team utilize project management tools I had experienced within major corporate projects. I was shocked to get this level of planning and execution leadership for a residential home remodel job. Documentation, reporting, design and drawings are exceptional. Beginning with the first orientation meeting with Ed, we immediately knew we were dealing with professionals. Ed listened to our dreams for a unique master bath and closet upgrade, then went to work with his team to design the perfect project with extraordinary attention to detail. Before a nail was pulled, we could see the project in its entirety with confidence it would be completed on time and on budget. Equally impressive is Buckingham's construction crew. Carpenters, Electricians, Plumbers, and many others are the best in their field. We always knew our home and its security were in good hands. Pride in their work is evident in final product and the minimal issues faced as "bumps in the road". Ed and team caught most challenges before I ever noticed and corrected them in addition to always keeping us in the loop with exceptional communication. Another notable difference in our project is the quality of material and appliances. I didn't have to instruct the team on using high quality products, it's their standard procedure. My wife and I totally enjoyed working closely with Ed on this project. His resume is a lifetime of excellence. Ed's integrity and pride in his company translate into very satisfied customers. I can recommend Buckingham group without any reservation and fully intend to use them on all my future projects. Denny and Gay Nell Dean

Not only did they do the job as well as I could have hoped, but they weren't satisfied with that level. Because of my non-traditional door frame, the door knobs on the outside of front door and the inside of storm door barely touched when closed. I was just happy to have new doors and wasn't worried about the potential of rubbing the finish off the handles. However, HTH didn't let it go. About a week after finishing the work, they stopped by my house at lunch to let me know they'd been thinking about it and had an idea to adjust the doors so they wouldn't touch. And it worked. I was perfectly happy, and somehow things got better. Since then, I've had them install custom cabinets in my bathroom and do a full kitchen remodel when my mom moved into her new home. They also laid down new flooring for her along with fixing several off-kilter interior doors and cabinets in the house. They do great work on big and small jobs. Absolutely cannot recommend HTH enough. They're someone you can trust that will offer you a fair, transparent price for work that will be superior quality to what you would find almost anywhere else.
