Total scammers, avoid at all costs. Bought two tickets via StubHub that were held by this company for the ACC Tournament. Then this joke of a company transfers me the wrong tickets (not even to the same day of the event). Working via StubHub I returned the wrong tickets to Select-a-ticket but they refused to honor the tickets I actually purchased and told StubHub that "they were mapped incorrectly". Truth is that the same seats are still for sale on their own website for a similar price and either they just did not want to honor their commitment as a seller to StubHub or are just simply hoping that people look to buy those tickets at the good price they are listed for so Select-a-Ticket can bait and switch them to crappier seats. Thankfully my interactions were moderated thru StubHub who found me comparable tickets I presume from a different seller. Stay away from this crew! read more

I have been buying event tickets here for several years and I am never disappointed. I like the straightforward pricing the best, they never add fees or taxes. I'm pretty good at buying tickets when they go on sale, but when a concert is sold out or I decide to go last minute, I always stop in or give them a call. I've never had a bad experience and would encourage you to try them out. It's always better to talk to a real person who has actually been to the stadium/venue and knows where to sit than to stare at a seating chart online and find out you have to pay fees. Bought tix to Seahawks vs. Giants game. Spent an arm and a leg, but they were 16th row at an NFL game so I expected to pay. Like others I was worried the tix may not be real, but they were. Was told I get them a month before game (cause I bought far in advance), but got them much quicker... Plot twist: My friend who flew in from Seattle get to the game and there are people in our seats who said they were the season ticket holders. We compared tix and they were exactly the same. So we sat in the next seats till those folks came and then went to settle the issue. The folks at the arena ended up taking the season ticket holders down to the field and allowed us to sit in their seats. But we didn't get back to them till the 2nd quarter. Something didn't feel right about the way they were acting. But they said they owned the seats for many years so I just assumed they were telling the truth. I wrote the folks at SelectATicket and they investigated and sure enough, the season ticket holders were running some kind of scam (probably to sell the ticks & use them too). My intuitive notion was right! The SAT folks were very helpful and apologetic. This is not something they could control. They ended up refunding my ticket purchase which was a great move on their part. I buy a lot of event tickets and will use them in the future. read more

Purchased tickets to see Jurassic Park show coming up. I normally go through Ticketmaster to purchase my tickets but my daughter found select ticket inc online. They were cheeper and they didn't charge double fees in addition to the actual ticket price as other Venus do. Although skeptical at first I went ahead and bought the tickets. I was pleasantly surprised with the ease of getting the tickets and the emails that walked me through them. I will use again for future purchases. The only reason I gave a 4 star instead of 5 was there was some slight confusion at first but I figured it out. Thanks Joe! read more

The pros: You will get the ticket you want to the event you want when it's sold out The cons: You will pay more than you would buying directly; shipping was slow and I did not like the way they misrepresented themselves (I did not realize I was buying from a third party- I thought I was buying directly- no disclosure until the confirmation of payment comes via e-mail). As the previous review stated, I also did everything online myself- selected tickets, paid for tickets, yet still had to pay for delivery and wait for a package to come with actual tickets (I thought I was printing them via bar code method).... If you really want to go to a sold out game or concert it's worth it (if you don't mind spending extra and don't mind if the seats aren't great which both applied to me at the time). All that being said, I'm saying they are A-OK because they do what they say- they get you the tickets you want when you can't get them otherwise. read more

So I was really hesitant on my first review because of the horrible reviews I read. And on top of that I bought my tickets months before my event and was told I will get them a couple days before my event. But I actually received them a month before and was able to print them out at home. Finally the day of the event I was honestly scared they weren't going to work or be valid for some reason but nope they were. They were exactly the seats I wanted, yes very over priced but hey at least I got my seats for an event that was so huge and practically sold out. I purchased tickets months in advance but unfortunately that show was cancelled day of. Joe from Select a ticket was more than helpful with my decision-making. I was able to get the same exact seats for a later date. I never felt rushed or bothersome when speaking to Joe. It was a pleasant surprise compared to my experience with telecharge service reps. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! Purchased NBA All-Star Celebrity Tickets OVER 7 WEEKS AGO as a Christmas gift and spent over $1000. We have made hotel reservations and travel plans to go to the game but today I received an email (not even a call) to inform me that my GUARANTEED tickets were "double sold" so we no longer have tickets now 10 DAYS PRIOR TO THE GAME. They offered me replacement tickets in a much less desirable section, several rows back which are tickets that I can see posted online for less than half of what I spent to have good seats. I've been told that they did not secure my tickets after my purchase so they were sold through another broker and they did not find out until today; did they not make an attempt in the past 7 weeks to be sure they were secured? Apparently I will hear back from them tomorrow so we will see how they are going to make this right... I will update my review. read more

Scammers who are committing consumer fraud. I was mislead into thinking I was buying from the actual venue but instead got redirected here (which I didn't realize until later). When I realized my mistake (same day) and called they refused to issue a refund and said all sales are final. I'm hoping my bank/PayPal will be more honorable than this horrible company and issue a refund but either way I plan on reporting them to the attorney general for consumer fraud. Be aware the grimy ticket scalpers are still thriving in NJ!! Had to give them 1 Star because I had to, would give them No Stars if it let me. I used Seat Geek saw tickets to an event advertised CLEARLY as Floor. $40.00 includes shipping & handling. I got the tickets but not even close to the floor. Way up in the upper bowl, $24.00 Face value. To add insult to it I got charges $15.00 shipping also.. Not good,Not good.. Wrote to both Seat Geek & This place and have not heard from either. I thought the days of Grimy ticket scalpers where over but I guess not. Surprised that Seat Geek let this be advertised as FLOOR SEAT. Never have this problem with Stub Hub. Follow up for the worst company ever!! I over paid for seats to a recent venue and was given some of the worst seats ever. I tried to send them back for the ticket location I originally asked for and they never sent me my hard copy tickets. I showed up to the venue with a printed copy of 1 of the 7 tickets that were forwarded by email. ($565.00) When I showed up, they would not let the other 6 of our party in because they were unable to locate the purchased tickets from a 3rd party retailer. We ran over to a nearby hotel to print receipts, but 30 minutes into the show, we were forced to purchase 6 additional tickets ($414.00) to get in the door. Worst experience ever! This company cost me lots of money, time and irritation. I will be filing a claim against them! read more
