It will be the best money that you spend on your wedding if that planner is Stacey. To rewind to the beginning I had already booked my venue when I found Stacey on their preferred vendors list. We had started booking the band and the officiant when the venue called Stacey to tell her that they had decided to do renovations and that I could either push my wedding date back at least 6 months, or get my deposit back. Knowing I would be devastated (and that I wasn't going to change my wedding date), Stacey spent her entire day driving around to different venues, checking their availability, and taking videos on her cell phone to send to me. The new venue that we ended up booking was actually so much better than the first venue, and I am incredibly grateful to Stacey for finding it, and to fate that the first venue cancelled on us. Stacey knows all the best vendors in Florida; from flowers to bands to photographers to invitations to the hair and makeup girls, to the officiant, I was blown away by the amazing professionals that she took me to meet. Not only was every single one the best at what they do, they were all incredibly nice people that were a pleasure with which to do business. Stacey brought every dream that I had for my wedding to life, and she worked tirelessly to do so. Stacey doesn't just throw the perfect wedding though; she is also there to give advice and help with any sticky 'life' situations that are sure to come up. I can't thank Stacey and her team enough; my wedding was the best weekend of my life. She is adored by all my friends and family and she even got a standing ovation at our farewell brunch. My husband and I can't wait to see her the next time we go to Florida, and I hope she knows how grateful we are to her for everything, because she is one very special wedding planner.

He also has a section of songs he should not play. As soon as we arrived at the reception hall, he approached us and introduced himself. He made sure we were ok and went over the introductions and first dance. He made sure we were in the loop throughout the whole evening. Before the cake cutting, bouquet toss, and garter toss, he approached us to let us know he was going to announce it, and right before he did, he would look at us for confirmation that we were ready. If we weren't ready to do something, he would wait until we gave him the ok to announce it. We felt that he really cared about us and our guests throughout our whole wedding. He kept us as the primary focus the whole time. Anthony is very approachable, polite, amicable, and professional at the same time. Best of all, he kept our guests dancing all night long. We all were very entertained and happy! I would hire ALB Events and Anthony in a split second for any event, not just a wedding. We wanted a fun wedding, but definitely wanted to avoid any dance-party/club feel, and Anthony delivered just right for us. It's refreshing to work with a DJ who actually listens to what you want and complies. We gave him some must-play songs (pretty sure we heard all or most of them) and a general idea of what kind of music we liked, and he put together an amazing evening. So many of our guests complimented us on the music, and everyone had a ton of fun. Anthony also has a great personality and worked so well with our photographer (Steve Lawson at Michelle Lawson), who recommended him, and our florist (Bobby Kyser at Panache Style). The lighting worked so well with our flowers and helps create just the right mood. My only issue was that we were misquoted on the fee and ended up spending $100 more than we originally thought. However, Anthony was without a doubt WORTH every penny and more, so we gladly paid. Of our shortlist of DJs, he was $200 more than the cheepest, but about half the most expensive, so definitely a great value. At the last minute (i.e. at the rehearsal the night before), we realized we'd need a mic and speakers for the ceremony because of the wind. We called Anthony. He also took the time to find some really cool remixes we would enjoy. A few days before he called me to go over the timeline and my song choices. The system they built on LiquidDJs.com made it really easy to input my choices and change them around. Also, I really appreciated his input on making the sound system work at my venue. The acoustics at my wedding venue is really bad due to the shape of the room. Shannon explained this to me and discussed his plan on how to make it sound great by switching to different speakers at different times (dinner-time / post dinner dance time). The result: AWESOME! We were really impressed with how everything sounded... so clear! Bonus: We had a Super Mario Groom's cake and Shannon at the very last minute found a fun little sound byte to play when we cut it. Awesome guy, great voice, great taste. Loved the Deadmau5/Daft Punk mix he played as the last song... everyone was literally jumping up and down as if they were at a concert. Anthony was a gentleman and kept things really simple and subtle - the way we liked it. They work with you online to compile a playlist through their website. It's also a great way to show them what your taste in music and expectations for the wedding will be. You get 12 Must Plays and another 58 Play If Possibles. Our music was really eclectic; from Louis Armstrong to Bob Marley to covers by Reel Big Fish and Ben Folds. Anthony made it work like a champ. His riffs on our picks only made it more fun. He even was part of our ceremony and took our cues beautifully. He helped make our Greek/Jewish/Italian wedding something to behold. We danced the Hora. We danced to Zorbas.
