They are the most popular act of the year with performances spanning three hours. The show began with singers and dancers of all ages from their school. There was a lot of audience participation as they brought different people up and taught them dances. They also had a conch blowing contest. The last hour of the evening was the professionals showcasing dances from the South Pacific islands of Tahiti, Hawaii, New Zealand, and Samoa with costume changes. The grand finale was three fire knife warriors. They were thrilling as they twirled and threw flaming batons high in the air. I saw them get singed a few times. They were on fire, literally! The Aloha Islanders put on an amazing show and I'm so lucky that I got to experience it for free. They are available for booking on their website for corporate and private events. The stage, props, costumes, makeup, tech equipment were all top notch! The chairs look like they took them from an old theatre and reused them. There are two restrooms for all the people to share during the intermission. There was plenty of time for everyone to use the facility. They do 4 productions a year and this one included adults. All the others are children only. The singing and performances from the actors was excellent. After the show you can talk with the cast. The sound and lighting was better than some shows I have seen at Parker Playhouse. Parking is easy. It's the third floor of the Dillard's parking garage. It is free and there are plenty of spots. I am going to keep my eye on their upcoming schedule and attend another great production.

I notified them that evening that I was EXTREMELY unhappy with the cleanliness of the facility and told them I would not be sending my kids there. That's when they told me that had to have my "dispute" reviewed by a board which only meets once a month. Anyway, long story short, I am having to fight to get my money returned. Please, please, please do yourself a favor and check out the facility before you actually pay them.

And then I came across Craft for Art and I'm so happy I did. Our instructor was so kind, patient and her instructions were clear to understand. We all got to create our own one of a kind masterpieces that we can keep! In addition to our pieces, we got to make memories and enjoy each others company. Everything was provided so it was seamless and the tea and cookies during were nice touches as well. You're able to bring your own refreshments and will accommodate a space to store them.
