Staff was friendly, not a long wait at all, my issue is with Dr. Nguyen…read more I was seen in April of 2025. During the breast exam Dr Nguyen stated she felt a lump in my left breast. I waited a week or so and never heard from the radiologist to set up an appointment for my already overdue mammogram. I call the Women's Clinic and ask "Why has this not been sent to radiology?" Dr. Nguyen never even noted in my file that she felt a lump and then sends me to radiology for a "Diagnostic" mammogram and an ultrasound. Normally there is no charge for a yearly mammogram, but because she ordered a Diagnostic Mammogram and Ultrasound it cost me $312 out of pocket. Thank you Dr. Nguyen for the expense because there was NO LUMP !!! Couldn't even feel or find a lump. I think you may need more breast exam training Dr. Nguyen.

Prenatal care: Visits seemed extremely rushed, like she was always in a hurry, but she was never…read morerude. She was definitely nice, and always asked how I was feeling. She justified everything as normal, but agreed to prescribe me some heartburn medication since none of the OTC things were working, and mine was so bad that I couldn't even lay down without intense burning. She was empathetic when I ended up with a PUPPS rash, and gave me suggestions of things I could do to ease the discomfort. Since I had a scheduled c-section, she gave me several dates to choose from, which was nice. Postnatal care: This is where I have issues. The MFM had me on baby asprin since week 20, and I'm not sure if there was a lack of communication, but I was never informed that I needed to stop taking it prior to surgery. That being said, I ended up with pretty bad postpartum hemorrhaging that could have been easily avoided. I will say, I do like that she made my incision super low so it's not visible even with bikini-style underwear. She also put "everything" back well, so my abdomen looks defined at times because of how she placed everything. The nurses are the reason I skipped my 6 month postpartum checkup. I don't remember their names, but one of them was super rude to me when I called about my postpartum hemorrhaging. I even remember one of them being sassy when I would call in for questions while I was pregnant. It's also alarming that I skipped the appt, and no one ever called to check up. As bad as this sounds, I still haven't gotten checked out, but I plan on finding a different OB/Gyn and getting a very overdue postpartum check. Nurses make a huge difference in how the patient feels about a practice, and I have to dock off a star because of their service.

My overall experience was just okay. The job was done but this is not what I am looking for as my…read morefirst time mom experience. My complaints are: 1) Dr. Wong is extremely rushed and does not pay attention to detail (she is not rude though). She does not make your visit personal and I am just patient #123. I understand doctors are busy but in that setting I am a customer so I don't care how busy you are. For example, I asked her to check a few things once she walks into the room and she does not remember to check until I remind her again before she walks out. She does not take her time to chat with you and see how you truly are doing (I especially value this because I am a first time mom and I am anxious and nervous about everything.) 2) Office staffs are not friendly but they seem to improve a bit after I sent a complaint to the main office. They are not patient in answering your questions and of course I had to deal with them on wrong billings. 3) Although I have never met Dr. Wong's nurse Rebecca, I already dislike her due to her phone etiquette. She makes you sound dumb and has attitude when talking to you. In summary, if you are looking for a passionate and personal OB/GYN, unfortunately I would not recommend Dr. Wong even though she receives good rating from the majority reviews.

Long story short, I've had 3 pregnancy losses. I started bleeding at 9.5 weeks pregnant. Office wouldn't schedule me to get checked. The bleeding got worse, I made myself an appointment online. Confirmed at that appt there was no heartbeat. Had an emergency D&C at Methodist stone oak due to passing massive clots/ hemorrhaging. I get discharged, and told to call for a follow up. I call, they can't see me until 5-6 weeks post op (November 10th). They call me on Halloween saying the doc wants me to come in today. (Sure let me cancel my plans?!) I go in, they tell me I have to pay out of pocket because my insurance declined the last claim due to coordination of benefits. I'm upset, why do I pay for insurance if I can't use it?! I end up paying out of pocket ($150) JUST FOR THEM TO ONLY DO A PREGNANCY TEST. Dr. Patel comes in and I'm UPSET at this point.l and crying. It's traumatic to go to an office and see pregnant women everywhere after you just lost ANOTHER child. Then to be told I won't be seen if I don't pay private pay. The office has treated me terribly. Don't care about any concerns. Everything is on their time. Dr. Patel comes in. Doesn't introduce herself. Nothing. "Your pregnancy test is negative, I'm not worried about retained products. Are you still bleeding?" I say yes, she says okay could be a period or not. I'm not sure. I asked are we just doing a pregnancy test? No pelvic exam? I just paid $150 for a pregnancy test????????? I verbalize I'm upset at how this office has treated me. She states: "I understand but we don't allow ugly behavior in our office either." WHAT???????? What did I do that was so ugly???? Then. I get this in the mail a week later. This practice SUCKS. I will never return or recommend to anyone. I work in the medical field, and it's disheartening the way this practice has treated me.

Second, she was complaining that I didn't fill out some information on their online form. To my defense, it was a very outdated form called "Docusign", which was an online word document with blanks. She was very insensitive when she was mentioning about my miscarriage. Because I wasn't given a private exam room so everyone in the lobby heard about my miscarriage. It really made me emotional. In addition, I was not a big fan of the doctor, either. He wasn't very informative unless you keep asking him. I will not go to this clinic anymore.
